Converting a frame to fit a different motor is the easier part, there's a thread showing a Shimano motor being replaced with a Befang.
The harder part is getting the electronics and battery to work with the motor, it would likely require the electronics and battery to also be replaced, this can...
Strange thing happened to me at BPW where my xt brakes worked great before putting my bike on the uplift, then after getting my bike off the uplift and pedalling towards the trails, I pulled a hand full of brakes and the front lever came right to the bar.
At first I thought it had been damaged...
I need to do a full service on mine at some point.
Is this the chamber that needs bleeding?
I have a Shimano bleed kit, hopefully the fittings are the same.
I'll probably have a look at this over winter.
I've been really impressed with the fork so far.
Been playing with pressures and...
Same brakes and rotors as you, mine make a clicking noise when rocking the bike stationary/very slow speed, as soon as I'm moving it goes away though 🤷♂️
I've been using the RG2 grease and noticed the same, that it seems to thin out after time.
I just remember hylomar being so good, it sealed a leaking fuel pump for years but like you say that was a static situation.
I notice it does come in different viscosities now, my motor will be coming...
Thinking out loud, back when I used to tinker with motorbikes I used to swear by Hylomar blue, has anyone else used it?
It's a non setting sealing compound LINK
Wondering if it would make a good substitute instead of grease for the external seals, as it won't wash away like grease does.
Not...
The Miranda 152mm can be had for around £36 at the moment. They fit and work great but are soft as butter and bend easily if they take a hit, as I found out first hand.
I've just fitted some Hope cranks and keeping my fingers crossed they are a bit more resilient.
Was fitting some new cranks today, so thought I'd apply some fresh grease behind the seals, could I get the nds seal off, nope....!
I've used circlip pliers in the past, like how Rusty shows in his vid, but the seal was having none of it today, just wouldn't budget.
Anyone have any other...
Thanks for the info guys, much appreciated (y)
I've got some Hope cranks coming and have had terrible trouble with the stock E-thirteen cranks constantly coming loose, regardless of how tightly the bolt was torqued, only thing I didn't try was thread lock, I didn't like the idea of using it as...
So, initial impressions are very positive. I need a lot more time on the bike to fully adjust and set up the forks, but I don't think I'll be going back to a 27.5 front wheel anytime soon.
I spent the day at my local bike park which has a good mix of short tech and jumps lines, very easy to...
There are a few threads covering this issue with not much resolve.
A recent update certainly changed the way walk assist works and for me it's been a negative.

Yeah a few times, and it's always been because I've had it in the wrong mode.
Worst one was when I forgot I had it in turbo and tried to pull a wheelie only to be ejected out the back door. Landed flat on my back and winded my self severely, it took a month before my lungs stopped hurting 😞
