I got out for my weekly sanity ride on friday and a mile into my ride my freehub body would spin both directions. After a walk back to the car and drive home I started investigating The XD driver was more difficult to remove than it should have been and discovered all 3 pawl had a rounded...
I’m see signs that the tide might be starting to shift. Have you seen this post from Evergreen? Updates On e-MTB Access & Advocacy In Washington
I was out at my most frequented trail system this week and talked to a couple of Snohomish county park rangers after I watched them ask a group on...
Thanks for posting this. I hope evergreen wakes up and realizes this is the future and people willing to spend $$$$$ on an emtb will likely also be willing to create and maintain places to ride. In the last 11 months I’ve put in 800 single track miles on my emtb. Not one of those were in places...
Has anyone else experienced frame wear from derailleur cable running? I’m experiencing some aluminum wear as well as cable housing wear from where it exits the frame.
While we are discussing trials. I want to find a setup with similar feel as my moto trials bike. I know an eddy current is really close to a trials tire but they are too speedy. I’m thinking about a pair of wtb vigilante 2.8 in rough high grip. Grippy compound and stiff sidewall to facilitate...

That said it all depends on rider mass and assist level. Riding in the “old default” eco and mixed medium trail was able to do a 25mile 3000’...
Here in Washington cladd 1 bikes are bikes, BUT use on natural surfaces is up to the land owner/park system. Not legal riding anywhere close to me. If I have to ride in places open to motos I’m taking my moto. I’m 6 months I have yet to have any run ins with anyone that gets more than a stink...
Yes. I dint like how the left side of the motor hung out on it’s own so far. I used 2.5” bar for the main part and a short piece of 4” for the deflector. I tried a JB weld as a poor mans bond for the pieces it didn’t hold. I’ll have to find someone who can run a bead on both sides.
I wanted to give a shout out to the developers of EMax. The iOS app saved my juicy bacon today. Got lost on the wrong side of a ridge line with one red bar. Dialed eco down to 25% 25nm assist. Range went from 5 miles to 14. Made it back to the car with 1 mile left. Most range anxiety I’ve had...
