I pre ordered this for PS4 last week. Hopefully keep me entertained on my time off
Just realised its not out until June ?. Hopefully the Corona hasn't got me by then
I did that already. I used IPA to clean it all too so water cannot be the issue. I'm Electrical to trade so not stupid in that respect which makes this a bit embarrassing ?
Thanks Gary I will definately be doing this once I resolve the current issue. Wish I had never touched it I only did it as I was bored because of this lock down. Hopefully the EP8 is a properly encapsulated jobby!
I'm having a nightmare. Unplugged everything to give it all a clean out. Now the fucking thing won't turn on. All connections are as they came out and I've continuity tested the di2 cable that goes to the display which is fine. I guess it's going for a trip to my local Shimano service centre...
Yeah in the 3rd smallest cog alot more rather than before where I only really used the 2 smallest. Still chew through cassette cogs but not as much now. They're only a few quid each anyway so no big deal. Obviously change the chain at same time as cogs so 25 quid all in every 200 miles or so.
I have the Novatec D462sb-Sl-B 12 which came as standard on the 2019 E-Sommet VR. Is there mean to be anything in between the end cap bit opposite side from the freewheel and the bearing? Doesn't seem like it from attached schematic. Seems like water and crap will be able to get in there though...
Thank @Gary he told me ?. I've been running a cheopo NW 36t like in link for months with zero issue and hundreds of miles. Best buy I've made for the bike, after STunlock of course ?
I fear I may need to buy one some day as I have bashed my motor a few times on rocks and pretty sure I've read on here Shimano refuse warrenty claims for that...
Spain seems to be the place to get Shimano E-parts from. I just got a second battery from Bikeinn for about 100 quid cheaper than anywhere in the UK. Screenshot below for anyone too lazy to search the site as the link was for an empty basket?
15-20 miles is easily achievable with the 500Wh battery. That's what I do on my usual loop which is around 1600ft elevation gain. I always have a couple of bars left (25%ish) A second battery is always an option too for around 400 quid.
Agreed. I've found now it's colder it's even more unpredictable. On a recent ride one minute I'm showing 2 bars and10k range then half a mile later it shuts down whilst on eco mode. Didn't come back with power cycle either. I'm on an old firmware in order to use all features with Steps Unlocker...
I recently had this problem so stuck the Mrs hair drier in each one on medium heat for 15 mins. Job done. Just leave a gap for the air to escape back out the foot hole ?. She was at work and none the wiser ?
