Hey Pinoy Emtb’er, what tyres are you running? They look like Maxxis Rekons maybe? I’m after some new skinwalls and would be keen to hear your experiences!
I don't think @flash is suggesting fitting them all the way around the battery. Rather, removing the battery, then attaching the fidlock to frame only, and attaching the battery back over the top.
I thought so, just thought I would check as I know a number of people on the forum have had dramas as they hadn’t activated the light through the app.
It’s ridiculous that Shimano has set up the lights for 6V and 1amp. It’s also weird that lights such as the Lupine lights don’t seem to fit...
This is excellent! I had a very similar idea about a mount, but just never got around to making it. Would you be willing to upload the file for the mount? Happy to pay a fee if necessary!
All that being said - this was a far from ideal solution which I ultimately gave up on. Mainly because I had to take the bottle cage off when I was vinyl wrapping the frame, but it wasn’t a good enough set up to inspire me to put it back on :/

Ah my apologies. You can see here on page 7 it says a Revelation is compatible up to 160mm - as @khorn said. I thought I had read somewhere that the 29er Revelation was only compatible with a 140mm shaft, but clearly not...
As the title says, I’m wondering whether anybody has experience using an Onyx hub (or any other silent hub for that matter) on their ebike? I’m considering an Onyx - I was waiting for the new Shimano Scylence hubs but who knows when that will be...
Like @Slowroller said, there’s a port between the pos and neg chambers that is supposed to allow them to equalise. If there’s even a tiny bit too much grease the port can become blocked and will cause the symptoms you are describing. Probably worth pulling the fork apart and cleaning, however I...
Depending on how much extra travel you want, you can install a 140mm air spring into the existing forks also — just another option.
The Mattoc also came with travel spacers to be reduced to either 150 or 140mm.
Where abouts in NZ are you? I’m a kiwi living in Aus but moving to Auckland at the...
