It's one of the reasons I opted for the Kiox display which imobilises the motor on the bike when removed. Whilst it's not gonna stop the bike getting pinched, it would leave me with a little satisfaction knowing the bike is completley useless to them without the display unit.
I'm afraid not. I too use the Kiox and you can not adjust any of the assist modes. As for being shit loads of money it would be cheaper to upgrade from the kiox to the Nyon as all the cabling and control are identical.
I'm giving it some thought myself on whether to upgrade. I like the fact that...
If your bike as the new Nyon control then the answer is yes you can adjust the assistance levels to suit your needs. If you have any other of the Bosch cycle computers then the answer is no.
it's beeing worked on and is a known issue. you should frequent this forum. There is actually Bosch representatives that you can ask all your questions. they answer them too

I purchased the SL625 model, the 2020 version. It's exactly the same as the 2021 model with the exception it now comes with a 4amp charger and the Nyon instead of the Kiox display.
I too had the same dilema of wether to buy a FS or hardtail. budget wasn't an issue.
I use the bike every day for...
yes they record your route. They upload it to the Bosh e bike connect app aswell as the Komoot app. the Komoot app is really good for planning routes. you can create a route on your PC using komoot in a we browser then save it. When you start the ebike connect app the route will be there. You...
upgrade you bike computer from Purion to either "Kiox" or "Nyon". the cost is well worth it. You get to see battery use as a percentage as well as a range of other features like navigation
your correct the 2020 models are pretty much indistinguishable to the 2021 models. I purchased the 2020 SL625 last November and apart from now being £100 more, 4amp charger from 2amp charger and Kiox display noe Nyon nothing as changed

I took mine into my LBS for a service. I mentioned the creak to the mechanic. I don't know what he did or tightened but it's been as quiet as a mouse ever since. worth every penny of the service as the creak had really started to bug me and there are Torx bolts on my motor that are tamper proof...
what confuses the matter is that there are a lot of pavements that are shared with cyclists and pedestrians. the pavements have bikes painted on them. it's quite common where I live especially on subways to have the pavement divided in two with the cycle way painted red. On my commute to work it...
