A freind of mine is thinking of purchasing the Z20 for commuting to work but I'm a little confused over the legality of e-bikes with a throttle scooter mode.
I can't see how a scooter in the UK is only legal on private land but a throttle ebike can be legal to commute
These are the ones I've just purchased and put in mine

excuse my "waffle" I have no idea what your talking about and was quoting what my LBS said to me and that I must put a SRAM chain on my SRAM groupset. in other words "No you can not use KMC chain"
I have the 625w battery. I use the the bike for commuting and get 2 weeks of commuting done per charge. Thats 80 miles. I weigh 95kg and have changed the nobbly tyres for smooth which suprised me how much extra battery it gave. + 5-10%
your dead right about the stopping to chill and Kiox finishing your ride that is annoying
The battery thing I don't have issue with after 6 hr ride my phone battery went from 100% to 80% but i planned my ride on kamoot and sent it to the Kiox and just used kiox to navigate me
Thinking of...
we may have our wires crossed, when you said can a dealer do it I assumed you meant the upgrade to Nyon and not the assistance level change. The dealer will have little scope for adjusting assistance levels. I believe they can swap out the EMTB mode for SPORT but thats about it
