Honestly its not often I need to navigate, I ride places I no but those places I 1st discovered by either Kamoot or letting the Garmin app give me and adventure.
Some of my best adventures have been letting the Garmin app sort me a route out with my determined mileage so I need to start letting...
Ok, I get it, all the YouTube vids of how it allows you to get the seat out the way on mega down hill rocky sections and allows you to move around the rear of the bike without obstruction.
I also note how all of these guys can pedal without sitting down.
My confession is its the greatest...
I've got 3 Fenix watches 2 Garmin nav units and a bosch kiox system . Its getting right on my nerves now with regards the lack of data I can access on my rides. To be honest I would like to no exactly how many packets of crisps I have eaten in the last 3 days and how many times I've been to the...
Seriously if my grandad used the phrase Hucking a mtb id have to google it and then check his shed to see if there's actually a mtb in there or he's gone do lally.
Honestly if your 85 fair play. I no longer have any grandparents and my hair/teeth and eyes are falling out at 53 so if I can be...
Its beautiful , and virtually empty, the last 10 miles of the trail included a couple of walkers and a guy on a mtb . I passed the guy on the bike going and passed him on the way back while he was still heading up there lol.
Your lucky if you haven't worn out your bell round hear on a small...
Just back from a week away in Kincraig next door to Aviemore in Scotland. I took the bike even though my time would be limited as its a bit selfish with only a week and my partner in toe to be out every day but it would of been mad not to.
I am now back in the shitty midlands ? with only...
Its been 5 weeks since I ventured out, I normally do 4 times a week averaging 100 miles a week or more on a good week so nothing fancy.
Busy with home stuff and work, a bit of laziness toped off with an accident involving my leg is my excuse for the lack of motivation.
I ventured out last...
Lol your not alone, I've not been out for 4 weeks, I blame work and working weekends at my house on jobs. My Garmin watch doesn't get that and just says I'm inactive and on rest and is having a serious effect on my training
I will be out and motivated again soon .
74 miles is a hell of a ride on a mtb. One day i may actually be able to get up early enough and achieve an epic like that. My claim to fame is 42 miles and I've fell short of that for a long time. I think I could eek out that range on my bosch gen 4 considering I've completed several 12 mile...
A lot of talk about suspension and tire pressures hear, can you actually get any grip on loose gravel as the original post eludes to?
To be honest dry gravel is asking for a front wash out regardless .
It wont be fun but it will be nostalgic and make you appreciate your EMTB if and when complacency kicks in. I reckon its a good idea to keep the old pedal bike, it might keep you honest (y)
Sounds about right to me, maybe a 1psi miss reading and whenever you check the pressure with a tire gauge I guess you loose a little between connection and disconnection .
Honestly I think you need to just ride your bike, I wish loosing 1 psi on my push bike tires required me concern...
I've got to get up to the peaks one day, I'm Notts derby boarder also. 7am ~8am :( Honestly that's why I ride alone, to lazy and that would mean no beers the night before  .
I would love to be able to wake up crack of dawn on a weekend and enjoy an early morning epic without...
I need to look into what kind of elevation gains I'm getting on my rides, that's the battery killer but I generally ride in eco with the odd bump to tour mode. My Garmin watch tells me I'm climbing some of the steeper hills with a gradient value of 15, not actually sure what that means but they...
Is it just me that's lost the plot on needing a bigger battery, honestly my bosch 625 gives me several rides, 26 miles, 15 miles, 20 miles etc, i generally get between 60 and 75 miles out of a charge.
My guess is my rides are not long enough and my surroundings are not interesting enough ( no...
I had the race as my 1st emtb ,2020 bosch. Its the base model. I now have an Action Team. To be honest life's to short for me to wait around. The SL is a step above the race, if it was me I would just buy a better model which ever I could get now. That's probably why I cant retire any time soon...
