Just go for the 830 edge, I upgraded last year from a 530. Its everything you need. I have a Fenix 6, Garmin Marq and the 830, I'm a Garmin freak but I still don't understand or claim to be proficient in all its capabilities. They all take a lot of use to get to grips with.

Kiox is a cracking bit of kit, whenever I see the Purion it looks like something from the 90's. Look into it a bit more if you can.

I very really use anything more than tour mode for big long inclines, its a power house in this mode and always drop back to eco as soon as possible. Eco is still very strong and in the right gear allows for some serious pull just slower. If I could de tune Tour mode a little I would.
