I’ve been looking at the model’s with DH certification, like the Bell Super DH, Leatt dbx 3.0 & Met parachute MCR
The newer lighter weight & well ventilated full face helmets like the fox proframe are also well worth checking out too, depending on how often you plan to need FF protection.
What...
Dude this isn't STW, no ones judging your yard. Great bit of ingenuity... but let be honest my medium mudhugger was pretty rubbish as a rear guard (for the rider) until I added the extended to make it as long as their new "large" model. You need a lots extension on a 29er wheel to stop the...
Are you blinkered? My original shimano e-bike didn't even make it out of the box before it broke, and then the manufacturer/shimano took so long arguing over who would/how to repair it, the supplier gave me a completely different brand of bike. Even bosch are more on the ball than that.
Yep I've just added the extender to my Medium (was the biggest when I bought it) mudhugger and it's gone from alright, to a completely dry back, a couple of extra inches was all it needed (..fnarr fnarr).
Another Levo owner here, I replaced my previous ‘bargain’ ebike with a Levo, when good deals were to be had in late 2019. Specialized are always dearer, & for no obvious reason to me, but they sell their bikes like hot potatoes, so their sales team must know what their doing? I bought mine as I...
Not heard of this at all, I was amazed by high high up my motor is compared to my old bike, but then I have my shock in the high position, what are you running it in? (high or low)
There are a couple of covers you can buy that I know of.. Rockyguardz or Amygos (though there site seems a mess & I...
thanks @Nicho as a glasses wearer, I appreciate the comments on those, and am close to buying a the MET mcr.
What do glasses wearer do about googles? I don't want contacts, so do ppl with glasses even bother with googles? ..I did find my eyes seemingly watering a lot more at BPW.
TBH I think...
As you can see (further up the thread) I use mine in conjunction with a mudhugger & yes it was very effective. I won't say doesn't stop all the mud collecting on the top of the rear of the swinging arm, but it does a bloody good jobs of preventing it.
Ahh fair enough, there is no doubt the Mudhugger is special looking, but then were grown men (& women) messing around on ’push bikes’ (even electrical assisted ones) worrying about how it looks is vaguely pointless. Especially coming back covered in mud..
if you not going to bother with a proper mud guard like the Mudhugger. Why pay so much for the Sicomtb when you may as well try @Will Hesch mudguard or even make one yourself?

with a proper mudguard setup it looks like dis..
ps mine is the old ’medium’ mudhugger, theres a newer...
Yes, but 'good will' will extend further to customers who bought their bike from the shop... your roughly 45min (going by google) from Berkshire bikes, if nothing else (like checking all your local spesh dealers) ring them even better go see them, emails asking for your best price is more than...
