Your telling me, they couldn't sell a wiring harness too? .. but as I noted and Rob has again confirmed, shimano are a faceless corp who couldn't care less
@remosito I'd disagree, I'd buy bike from "bobs bikes" if I knew I could definitely upgrade the motor later, and you'd buy with the...
Shimano are missing a trick if they don't offer it as upgrade, that's one option to update your old bike would make them a lots of friends (potential customers) & a healthy dose of kudos which they are lacking.
ps: I know.. they don't care and won't offer it..
When you say there not carried as a spare part? Do you mean you can’t get new internals? Seems strange, & a damned expensive waste if that is the case. Have you been in touch with SRAM to confirm?
Yeah stock seems to be issue most places, but still surprising the shop had kept hold of the Levo’s so long & unfortunate that you were not informed. They are great fun, totally revolutionised my riding, good luck looking
I have to ask! Looking at the Trek world dealers, Denmark is hardly devoid of bike shops, why travel to Germany for a discount? Shirely even paying more locally is worthwhile when confronted with an 4hr round trip & the waste of your personal time. Potentially double that if you need to leave...
Faceache Local market place & specific cycling FB groups can be worthwhile, though expect a lot more time wasters, & chancers than you saw 10years about (from all the place suggested above & FB)
Not sure what your asking or trying to point out from your post, but I have to ask why has your lbs still got a 2018 bike as a demo? Yes 2018 Levo‘s were fitted the 1.3 brose motor. It also ran 2.8 Width 27.5+ tyres, which will make it ponderous compared to a more normal width tyres on the SC or...
they seemed to sneak it in under the radar, though if you monitor the Spesch forum, no doubt they would have told you as soon as it appeared.
M8 lived in Norway for a year (his missus didn't want to move over), said it's very steep riding but a beautiful country, wish I'd taken the time to visit...
... it's the same with the "Sram brake are rubbish" (4 pot version), have you guys actually bothered riding them? I'm Clydesdale size and they stop me just fine, and done so for a year with out issue (& the 1.5yr previous on my last bike). At worst get some decent pads, stop spending penny's on...
Tbh straight away, just your contact points (seat/grip/pedals to your preferred choices), then ride it & see what you don’t like. The base levo fork looks to be where you’d gain the most performance, but having been smoked by a friend who has one, I wouldn’t write it off straight out of the box...
Just batteries and spec, the frame is exactly the same 19/20/21 as far as I am aware.. So forks will be Rev's (great fork, don't let anyone tell you otherwise) which are great and slightly lighter than Lyrik on the later 20 model.
@Fingerpuk Nah, it make me feel all fuzzy inside, cause those bastard were posting picture of dusty trail while we were being rained (or snowed depending where you were) on a couple of month back! Sweet sweet revenge...
@Ripping g better following? 511's have a very good rep*, but are expensive compare to other choices. I've order a set of Hope fortus too, as my LBS couldn't locate an DT parts or wheel in stock & looking it, it was a lot cheaper just to go Hope & be done with it. Slightly heavier, but then I...
Again like @Zimmerframe I bought the parktool mech alignment tool, as my shifting was all over the place. Glad I did as the mech hanger was bent all over the place when I tested it. Just search the "S17260000" code and you'll get plent of option to buy the original Spesch one for around £11, not...
