Something is wrong.
My MegNeg has been fine, zero leakage since installation except a minor amount on the shaft, same as any other air shock. I haven't even had to add any 'top up' air either.
Providing the top is screwed down properly I can't see how it could leak anywhere tbh due to the O...
As a lefty myself I would have to agree with this. Get him nailed on braking the way it's already set up, it will save a lot of hassle later on. Also, if I would have spent all my childhood years with a left rear brake it would have been a right pain when progressing onto off-road MC's and then...
That looks stunning mate. Really nice. I almost wish I had gone the 'cheeb' route now, mainly to get the user-friendly motor system but I'd love to build a bike from total scratch too. Had I of known more about what was out there re decent chinese frames and motors I would deffo have gone that...
TBH it's perfectly fine to store anywhere between 20 and 70% so thats a pretty big window and avoids having to think too much about getting a pack to 'storage charge'.
If it's really down to less than 20% just stick it on a charger for an hour and you'll be golden. Don't overthink it too much...
I'm intrigued as to why you needed these.... if I yank on my MT5's with more force than I would ever use when braking normally I still get zero flex out of them, anywhere. So is it more for the event of a crash? Even then, I would rather break a plastic clamp than a (more expensive) alloy lever...
It does need to rotate freely and yes you're right, some bikes are crap in this area, my Trance was the same. Although most lower mounts use a bushing and collars (the inners of which pass into the bushing), most bushings are waaay to tight on the O.D. of the collars. So when you clamp up the...
Some good riding around the south downs, my nephew lives in the area, he goes to the Steyning trails, nice rides along the river too. Quite jealous given theres not a lot around where I live in Essex :(
Good point but a Rail is also a good bike with modern standards to start with. I'm not sure what sorta bikes the OP was looking at but a lot of the cheap crap out there isn't upgradable because they use non-standard (old) specs like non-boost hubs, shitty odd-sized bottom brackets, non-taper...
Awesome!
I had an E reg MK2 16v which I converted to turbo (low boost - 7psi). I managed to wangle a proper manifold (and turbo) for it out of Turbo Technics - they had officially stopped doing their own conversions but had a few parts left on their shelves. Used an Escort RS Turbo intercooler...
My Haibike AllMtn 3.0 was £4.5k.
I had £1,250 from the sale of my 2021 Trance analogue. I had £250 cash and my workplace had a ride to work scheme but had a max cap of £3k. Most importantly, under no circumstances (I tried hard) would work let me 'top up' to get a more expensive bike.
The bike...
My boy's analogue Trance has Shimano SLX 11sp drivetrain/single pot brakes (200mm discs).
My Haibike has SRAM SX 12sp/Magura MT5
I can't say anything bad about either bike, both are very good, in fact I would say the basic brakes on the Trance when combined with bigger discs are waay better...
Oh for sure, no holier than thou stuff from me, was totally hammered coming back from a friends at midnight last year. Thankfully he lives in an area where theres very little to hit other than a ditch which tbf was exactly where I thought I was going to end up for the night with a bike on top of me.
Nice one, and to the point 👍
@Peaky Rider , if you just consider hired escooters as motor vehicles then all becomes clear. They are nothing like pedelecs in terms of the law.
As an aside, any non-hire escooter is banned outright. Therefore you can get points even if riding it perfectly. And...
Yes, road legal to ride the hire ones but only with a provisional (or full) driving licence. The licence is the condition and you are subject to all the same driving laws. Same as any other motor vehicle. So yes, they were drink-driving.
It's because an e-scooter is not legal in public. They are a 'motorised vehicle' and there is no licence category for them therefore the two dudes were drunk whilst driving without a licence eg the same as if it were a car or motorbike. So if they had licences they would get a ban, if they...
Same here - around 1000 miles now. I went for the gold XX1 and I still can't measure any wear since new. Well happy with that, especially given I am almost exclusively running in eMTB mode now. And the only maintenance I do is chuck a bit of Squirt lube on every few rides. I have to add though...
Concerning. Quite an unusual one in that it simply didn't turn on rather than an error code though.
Mines been OK but then I haven't done a lot of miles yet. Maybe similar to what you have.
