Purchased my E8000 Jam² C + early this year and very happy with it. I do however feel that it's missing a bit of a trick as it doesn't have the torque or range of other bikes and whilst a reasonable weight not exactly light.
I have perspective on this as got my bike and wife's Thron² for less...
If your wheel is moving with brakes applied but disc is not (and it's loose) you appear to have found your problem. Correctly torque the brake disc bolts and check carefully before a big ride.
There is an circuit for lighting on most bikes just few have an easily accessible port. For my part the fewer places water can get to the electrics the better so that not a major issue for me.
Exposure make a dedicated e bike light that can be wired in to the loom lighting port. Was going to...
Reject it, they should pay collection and issue full refund on receipt back. Hoping you bought on credit card so you can claim through that if you have any trouble.
There was a lot of talk about this after release of the Santa Cruz Heckler. Not sure I would bank on it but fair few saying it will be a direct fit.
I have no personal knowledge or insight, but lots of hope ?.
Have recently purcahsed a new Jam² with shimano steps and TEC pack and have now put in a few miles. This arrived around 4 weeks after my wife's Thron² with new Bosch motor that was frequently "borrowed" whilst I waited for mine to arrive so able to make some rough comparisons.
Bosch, you can...
Cheers for the review @Andrie, clearly not all think it worth £300. For those who know how to do it or a professional used to reading handling I get that feel is a better way to set up your suspension. For me I reckon renting this has to be an improvement on my setup and as a rental the shockwiz...
Once I have an upgrade in mind and the cash available to get it it's pretty much a done deal. I have a very sparkly DVO Diamond fork on one bike that I convinced myself I needed but if I am honest was just a bling purchase. Its done nothing to improve my riding as, like it's predecessor, I...
Thanks for the update but sorry it's not positive news. Pretty poor show seeing as they are managing to sell bikes without too much delay.
I know from my recent attempt Focus not interested in direct contact so you kind of stuck with waiting for Rutland. Sure it will get sorted but delay is...
Love a spreadsheet! Good prices from Focus and great deals on Giant in Aus. Why no Trek Rail as that seems to fit with the sort of bikes you looking at? Don't know whether it's available or what it costs in Aud but Commencal Meta Power would also sit well in your list and add to your confusion.
Fed up with no reply from bike discount.de to my e-mail query of last Wednesday I had another go on the phone today.
Got through fairly easily this time. Straight out they apologised for lack of response to the e-mail and offered to order and send replacement part in the post or arrange...
I agree with the buying local even if you cannot get quite the same deal. LBS are a great resource and do all I can to support but similar spec bike was quoted £5200 and I paid £3400. Would not want to own/ride the bikes available locally within my budget for this purchase. Also as the nearest...
