Since lockdown I have ordered 2 bikes from them, one after delivery of the other. Just be aware they are taking every bit of the required time to build and dispatch. Also the times stated on their website are "working days" so makes for quite a delay.
I have a minor issue with the most recent...
Yep, ordered Thron² for Mrs Spreaders as she had big knee rupture skiing in Jan so great way of building strength and getting out without worry of making it up tough climbs or getting home. I have ridden a few times and whilst it is too small for me I loved it. Would have happily got one myself...
Agree, could have been someone set up with levers Euro style then someone else hurriedly swapped em but didn't notice poor routing. Was an easy fix, took 2 mins just a funny way to send a bike out.
Reply to Flog, sorry didn't quite so edit to state.
Short answer, the way I feel today you deffo did the right thing. Although even at the time I would have happily have purchased within an hour or two drive and possibly even anywhere in the UK for a £250 premium.
Long rant why below!
They do...
After a long wait new bike arrived today from bike discount.de and I noticed this straight away. Guessing rounded allen bolt may be something to do with internal battery but don't know. Totally mullered and I don't really want to start riding with it like this as bound to be saving up a problem...
Mrs S recently got a Thron², I have racked up a few miles since it was delivered and now wondering if I made a mistake ordering Jam² (yet to arrive) as the Thron rides so well.
Sorry no experience of owning but share the decision agony recently. Apart from ensuring you get a well cooled bike you are probably going to have to make a compromise somewhere. Just make sure it is the one that affects your enjoyment and ability to ride least.
I always forget the Heli tape or invisi wrap until after I have rushed off for first rides and scuffed my new bike but will try harder to do it right this time.
Was tempted by the blue but it would clash with all my riding gear so went grey!
Order placed, thank you all for your advice and opinions, invaluable. Aim is to use this to supplement my regular riding and find new terrain so should get plenty of use in slim mode. If not looks like I will be happy using all those 756wh in any event. Now looking forward to arrival and...
Great feedback folks, thank you very much for the time and care put in to all these replies, has helped a lot.
Decision made and order placed, Jam2 C plus exclusive model (Looks like 2019 bike and spec despite sellers website suggesting it is 2020), Carbon front end, rockshox 35mm gold forks...
Good advice again but not dissuading me.
Despite being a not old 50 the recovery period after a nasty collar bone smash and surgery has very much dampened my bike park aspirations.
When I try and keep up with the younger riding buddies going on the odd bike park day the shuttle can do the ups...
Boom, another positive experience, thank you. That sounds to have been a pretty epic ride ?.
All I need now is a conflicting view to place me back in a flat spin. Seriously very grateful for all experiences good and bad.
Agree the Levo SL looks to be a great bike, taken the Jam² concept and smashed it. It is probably ideal for how I want to be riding however there are some caveats.
Having had a ride on wife's new Thron² I can see how I may well be up for some blasting about with high assist to explore new...
Hi all, new and near to making a first purchase. Been posting on general thread but guess this really should be asked here.
Seen what looks like a decent deal on Jam² with TEC pack included.
In an ideal world I will be using motor sparingly to assist with the many local ups for the short...
Thanks for all your advice and experience, these have helped educate me and also added to the current state of purchase paralysis!
Whilst I love the idea of riding the bike light, using the motor for gentle assist on the tough bits, odds are in favour of me being seduced by the available power...
