Important safety note from Canyon: the Spectral:ON CF / CFR and Torque:ON CF models may have damage to the battery

This is just bad design in the first place, so as it reach also now some potential health issue they have no choice to stop even before having any solutions. Could be a simple battery replacement but that would require total new design/batch (could be already in the process of it as nothing is...

    Canyon GPS draining battery?

I mean that there are tons of issues with them: dead battery, bad battery (draining too fast), dangerous battery as of now - nothing new really and Canyon is aware of that for months. No one knows the percentage of real faulty battery, as people only post when they complains but a global recall...

New Nicolai with Pinion gearbox announced

True you really do not want it to be broken or bent but by its design and location, any bad case would make it dramatic regardless steel or AL. Definitely for backcountry you want something solid, I might argue that if they could make a lighter one it would be fantastic (I am pretty light in...

New Nicolai with Pinion gearbox announced

My guess is that it is a part coming from Pinion looking at other bike? You go a little too far from one part to they could have gone to Rotwild. Looking at the overall picture, this is just 500g over 27+kg. Nicolai just build very heavy duty bike that's it. If you look at their other flagship...

    Dji avinox- Amflow

You missed the issue, the whole point is that for once there is a good chance that waiting would be of a huge benefit as new motor/battery past Avinox will significantly be better. Don't think this will be for 2025 which is a bit sad, you know it can exist now but it is not there yet on the...

    Dji avinox- Amflow

It means, that for now as appealing as it could be to some, this bike is useless to me, except for the motor/battery I would really like to have on my new bike. Second part of the sentence, I do not expect any other bike using the Avinox motor by 2025 - and I need a new bike soon :D See the...

    New Bosch Gen 5 rumours

When I look at it I found not so accurate info about it. Nylon is pretty tough and durable but lack precision in transmission gear, not sure this would apply here. This is not something new we all have at home some of them on when we have small motor (like in toy, as I broke tons of them I...

I think I am mostly jealous because they started with a trail bike instead of what I need :D and honestly I cannot foresee anything from them on another spectrum before ages.

    New Bosch Gen 5 rumours

I was wondering about that too. It really depends on how much torque there is on that peculiar one, it is hard to know. I have also the feeling from the look of it that the internal gear of the nylon one is also touching the big top gear. My guess is that we could trust Bosch, this would be...

    Canyon GPS draining battery?

Yeah we were all waiting for something from Canyon. My guess is that they finally get a solution or at least a plan. I really hope that they switch to Bosch asap

    Canyon GPS draining battery?

Yeah I get it, but this is also a nightmare for people through warranty and people out of warranty that would want a new one. Out of disrespect really, I agree they can have internal issue and/witth the battery manufacturer but at the very least I hope they would give a huge discount for people...

    Canyon GPS draining battery?

Tons of issue on this custom battery. I hope they will never ever do custom batteries ... (even if it is not really them)

    Other JUST DROPPED: All-new Slash+ e-MTB

Let me rephrase to be sure, do you steel feel the Eco boost on pedaling in the KSL and Slash or for would it be only like counter extra weight?

    Other JUST DROPPED: All-new Slash+ e-MTB

So now how it goes now? I also wonder if you really need to be in turbo or if eco/trail might be enough on the Kenevo due to its light weight. I bet it is more effort but I was hoping that even the Eco mode was giving more assistance that just the difference of weight. Same for the Slash+...

Mx to 27.5 front and rear

fwiw, one of my buddies is doing the same as my converted MX bike but he is on 27.5 - old bike I guess. For what we ride definitely a big advantage for speed, but I still like the 29 also for easier to roll over forest stuff.

Mx to 27.5 front and rear

Welcome to the past. Full 27.5 are very great as they are very very nimble. Major drawback is that they have more difficulty on rocky section like rock garden or roots. I would be very careful so as the BB can drastically go down so some bike will be very ugly to ride like no more pedal...

    Bike insurance

Depends on policy price. Usually totally unworthy. You cannot repair by yourself you need to prove everything and it can take so long. If you have more issue than what you pay you will be pushed out. Just know that there is a central file in most country listing all insurance claim you had...

New Nicolai with Pinion gearbox announced

Not sure this version is yet really efficient, and as the bike is heavy it is also a toll on that. Depends also on the rider weight :D Rob seems a tall dude. Now except the ride quality, this is still concerning for people wanting a new bike :D, because on another spectrum some very light big...

Need help from expert: Fox 38 Factory Fork Setup Issues - Seeking Advice for EMTB Descending Performance

Hard to give you accurate guideline but I do not really follow any Fox recommendation for the psi, that make no sense for me. For example I run 88 psi on my fork and I am 73kg all equipped, so cf post above it also really depends on your bike geo, your position and what you ride. I would also...
