I agree, I actually always preferred the under the seat pack, or seeing if I could stuff everything under the seat rails. I hate anything extra attached to the bike these days, preferring a small backpack. I know from the popularity of bottle mounts that others don’t feel the same :)

They’ve intimated that other lengths and Shimano compatible versions on the way. I have 175mm on my bike, I think 165mm would be sufficient.

Yes, it’s key battery release. No issues at all. 8035 is ever so slightly slimmer than the 8020 battery but most ebike down tubes are bulky anyway.

I do find it telling when Shimano would rather put resources into pushing the author of this truly excellent app around rather than sorting out their own E-Tube app So it works properly with an iOS update that they knew was coming and had an extended period of public beta testing.

Let’s face Specialized command a premium price. Many people think that’s ok which is fair enough I suppose. I’d like to see the day when frames are sold separately tbh. Not just for Specialized either.
