well that sucks, how old is the bike?
I have a friend who broke the chain stay on his 3 week old rise and orbea did not accept the complaint.
ended up having to order a new chain stay from orbea and pay him self full price and change it himself
so dont expect to much help from orbea
I understand how you think, however, the buyer will eventually have to spend money on the bike when the warranty expires, but yee if you have the money to spend i totaly agree with you.
A little OT maybe, but I have never understood this to change bikes every year.
if you are happy with youre bike ...... why change? , have never understood me on this that one must always have the latest things
yes e-sommet has always been really affordable bikes without getting a lot of cheap components.
I have a 2020 vrs and am also extremely satisfied, so it will be a while before I change.
Shimano themselves have not set a date for how long they will support the e8000 engine, so as long as there is support, it will probably be possible to buy new engines.
maybe vitus has not received any cases on the problem so they do not know about the problem?
However, it sounds like a problem that needs to be remedied
Saw that vitus has released their 2022 models. Both crc and wiggle have started posting them on their site.
If you look at the geometry and the components, it seems to be the same as 2021 bike, only the color is different.

I'm not bored and my answer was not sarcastic, what I just mean is why bother with a new bike.
I had contacted the shop that sold the bike and see if they have any ideas
