From the reports I’ve read the noise beds in after a little while and isn’t noticeable. I’m willing to bet it’s no noisier than the Shimano motor once bedded in. I don’t find the Shimano motor that loud but others do.

The Brose 2.1 is 4x ‘you’, the SL’s motor is 2x ‘you’. According to this page (which Specialized don’t seem to have updated for the 2.1, let alone the SL motor) the 1.3 is 3.2x you (320%). Turbo Technology | Specialized.com

Don’t necessarily need to do that (Apple to pineapples comparison? :) ). SL Comp Carbon 18.1kg (large, no pedals, tubeless) £6k, Levo S-Works £10k - what’s that 2.5-3kg difference at nearly half the price?
