Happy to understand your connection is working again. As you have seen I have been suffering more or less with the same issue. In the end my TCU was replaced and since then I have less issues. However still during rides I have 2-3 times BLEvo looses connection. You will receive an audio message...
@Specialized Rider Care, sorry to hijack this thread but apparently you are reading and responding to this section. Since November 13th I am trying to get in contact with you via PM. However since that time I don't get any response anymore despite earlier promisses which you made. I think I have...
Dear @ebikeZA ,
You are right, the BLEvo thread is extremely long. However some while ago I posted this message which could be helpful for you:
The Official BLEvo Thread - EMTB Forums
In my example I used eco and trail combined with smart settings and turbo just 100%. I used smart HR before...
You are right Paolo, once the dealer starts the update process all electric components (motor, battery and TCU) receive their individual update within one update process. So you can't only update the TCU or the motor or the battery. It's all three together or nothing at all.
Was the TCU of the bike connected via a USB cable to the dealer portal? Could the dealer update the firmware? If not, then it could ve that the connection to the bike was faulty and therefore the option was greyed out?
I received the 2019 Levo manual from a Specialized dealer which I accidentally run into when I was travelling for business in the US. So best thing a 2020 Kenevo owner could do, is ask their LBS to share the retailer workbook by mail so someone on the forum can upload it here. It should be...
@PaoloBLEvo , can you maybe comment this? Maybe there is difference between a max theoretical wattage setting (227W) and a short peak of overshoot of wattage in practice possible?
Hi @Mihail , thanks for your helpful contribution!
I think I more or less thought in the same way but approached it from a different side to end up with more or less the same result. I use BLEvo Smart Power function and with the function via the optional O_Synce remote I change the leg power...
Strange... I have the XL size. The chain was even touching the side of the mudhugger and my tire has a small wobble. (not the rim) Maybe this causes the difference then.
I ride a 2019 Levo Comp with the Eddy's 2.6. I bought the Mudhugger too but it didn't fit. When rotating the wheel it touches the fender. Tried to cut pieces away but I didn't managed to fit it. Possibly the difference is related to my alu frame compared to your carbon frame?
What I understood is that the procedure works. However I never tried it myself. I just went to my LBS and asked them to change the setting to the minimum value of 2000mm via the official dealer portal. If you have access to a 2018 battery and your LBS is not near to you than it the procedure...
Hi,
I have seen this document some while ago too. I never tried it myself but it should work as other riders confirmed it works. However the minimum value accepted by the TCU is 2000mm which results in a theoretical max. speed of 28,8km/h. In case you don't have a 2018 battery than you could...
Or try connect to the bike via Mission Control with your friends iPhone. Then you can exclude if the issue is related to the BLEvo app only. I am sure that would be very good to know for Paolo too.
I think the Levo 2019/2020 can only connect to one phone. Try to unpair/remove the bike from the phone where you made the initial connection with. Then try to run BLEvo and/or MC on the other phone. Big chance it will work but there can also be an issue with the TCU. So not only try to connect...
Are you using the BLEvo Android or ios version? Do you close MC completely before opening BLEvo? Once you open BLEvo do you scan for the bike and it does not connect?
