As you have contact with them, you might be able to inform them? If they check the Spesh dealer page which they use for updating the bike's software they will see the setting which Spesh allows them to change with a minimum value of 2000mm. I think they dealer thought you might wanted to...
Correct but even with BLEvo you can’t modify the wheel circumference anymore for the Levo 2019 and 2020 and Kenevo 2020 as Spesh blocked the modification of the wheel circumference setting via bluetooth. Only exception is TCU firmware version 2.019 which was the very first 2019 Levo firmware...
Theoretically (in case you keep the original 29" wheelset of 2300mm in the bike) it's raised by (2300/2000)*25=28,8km/h. However in practice the new cut off happens somewhere around 30 km/h. When using BLEvo you will have the accurate speed and distance as BLEvo automatically compensates the...
Hi @elbielasmtb,
Thanks for your post! Just use my settings as a first guideline which you can finetune afterwards according to your own desires.
Have you found the manual?
Page 13 describes the differences between mid-high and high but maybe you could also experiment with the settings...
Via the Specialized dealer portal. First they need to connect the bike’s TCU to a computer via a USB cable. They can also update the bike’s firmware (TCU, motor and battery) via that procedure. Via the same page they can change the wheel circumference setting.
A 2019 Kenevo doesn't have a TCU which limits the WC setting. So someone maybe set the WC to 2000 due to whatever reason. A reason could be custom wheels. You bought it second hand?
In BLEvo you should only enter the REAL WC. Blevo then calculates the max. speed based on the fake 2000 setting...
Maybe my previous post was too long and therefore caused confusion as I tried to write it down in full detail.
You are right, for a Levo with firmware 2.025 or newer (or Kenenvo 2020) with original speed limit of 25km/h, you will end up with the 2000 setting at a theoretical max speed of...
In case the 2000 setting (adjustable via LBS (not via BLEvo)) is not enough then an even better solution would be to buy the Levociraptor and you will never face any mechanical wear on plastic parts.
Just had a call with my LBS, they were totally no fan of Magura as they experienced issues in the past especially with very difficult bleeding and reliability. They however were not sure if these where the MT7 series. They recommend either SRAM or Shimano. Need to do some more research...
Hi all,
A short question, I like to upgrade the brakes of my 2019 Levo Comp. Current ones are SRAM GUIDE RE. The issue I have is that when the brakes get hot I end up with a vapor lock too easily. This happens relative fast and therefore I find the brakes unreliable.
I read a lot of reviews...
When you check the BLEvo/MAPS folder via the file explorer do you then see .map files which you copied to the phone? After downloading and unzipping the Openandromaps only copy the .map files to the phone.
Hopefully this helps...
Did you try smart power? If not, try it and you will get a virtually unlimited amount of settings and maximum range. Check my earlier posts where I shared screenshots of my settings as a start point. Then only adjust the power setting either via the optional remote or directly on the BLEvo...
I think you still use MC. In reality the real speed must be higher at least when you kept the original 29 inch wheelset in the bike. If you use BLEvo (which automatically recognizes the fake 2000 setting compared to your real wheel setting) you will see that the real speed/cutoff lies around...
Hi Zimmerframe,
Sorry, I don't have any experience with eGenesis as the app isn't compatible with my 2019 Levo. So I use BLEvo instead. As a reference you could try the settings which I shared before in this post:

So long rides should be possible from my...
Try to ask your LBS to set the wheelcircumference to 2000. Cutoff will then happen around 30km/h. Makes a big difference in ride feeling! If not enough for you, then you might want to check also the Levociraptor speed hack solution.
