@Specialized Rider Care , I must come back on my earlier statement. As you might know I never use MC but use BLEvo instead. However I had the connection issues with both MC and BLEvo iOS and Android versions so therefore I blamed the TCU.
Nevertheless @PaoloBLEvo didn't gave up and I must say...
Do you have the connection issues with latest BLEvo version 3.5.4 which Paolo just released? Please confirm.
Honestly the connection at least at my phone has never been as good with the latest version. It really feels very stable. However I run BLEvo on BV6000 maybe your setup is different.
No, don't set 2000 but set your real wheel circumference in BLEvo. 2019 Levo with original tires should be slightly less than 2300, mine is 2270.
Regarding the elevation for iOS version, you can see ascent and descent (select via display customization) You can also select after a ride, "Open...
Hi,
a) Just make sure you select the real wheel circumference in BLEvo (measured when sitting on the bike) in case you like to use the bike sensor which is more accurate than GPS.
b) Possible in BLEvo, see manual:
Instruction manual in english
c) Should be possible but why not import and...
Which BLEvo release do you use? iOS or Android?
I tried latest Android release and can only tell you that bike, RC and HR belt never connected this fast before. Maximum 5 seconds...
BLEvo doesn’t change the value in MC. BLEvo sets a fake value in the motor which corresponds to the desired speed cut off which you selected. In your case 28km/h.
Then MC reads the fake value which is stored by BLEvo in the motor.
Hope that explains...
Hi,
I think the issue is that you have set the speed limit in BLEvo at 28km/h instead of 25km/h where I assume your real wheel circumference is 2210mm.
((28/25)x5=5,6km so 5,47km seems pretty accurate.
But maybe Paolo has a different thought?
If this idea would work than I would be interested in a "simulate an mtb" setting in case I ride with friends with non-assisted bikes. I however am wondering why you wrote additional boost.
If you like a "simulate a road racing bike" setting then I guess you only need the support outcome of...
Thanks for your thoughts and advise!
I guess it's a combination of braking technique (after first ride when it happened more frequently) I tried my last ride to brake much more on the front. Despite my efforts it still happened but less frequently in the last ride. I guess a ride of 3000 meters...
Hi all,
Short question, I ride a Levo 2019 COMP manufactured by Specialized at 21st of July 2018.
I live in The Netherlands where we normally ride on hilly terrain (not mountains) this summer I have been riding near Garda Lake and Livigno Italy. During intense downhill rides I had at least 4...
I think I like your idea, just to make sure I understand you correctly, you would like a new BLEvo smart function related to "e-bike weight compensation in relation to speed" to compensate the additional weight of an emtb compared to a normal mtb.
So when I use the calculator you send where I...
In BLEvo only enter your real wheel circumference (measured by sitting on the bike full gear at right air pressure). Mine is 2270mm.
BLEvo sees the value of 2000mm (motor setting) and your real wheel circumference. Then it automatically shows your bike is theoretically limited at 28,8km/h.
I wasn't aware about this. I just checked some websites and it seems they advise Android users to remove this app. So that's what I did and installed Amaze File Manager as a free alternative. Only one issue now... I can't open via BLEvo the CSV/TCX/GPX map anymore. @PaoloBLEvo , can you maybe...
I checked mine and when selecting "Open CSV/TCX/GPX file folder" it opens the maps in ES File Explorer. Maybe you have installed ES File Explorer but didn't open ES File Explorer yet? I needed to open it once if I remember correctly and give some permissions.
After these permissions I can...
MC will not be accurate as it trusts you will ride with a 2000mm. wheelset then too. If you ride with BLEvo you can select the right settings and it will compensate the speed and distance travelled.
Be aware that I asked Paolo the same question as ios user about half a year ago. So no need to feel stupid. Besides that I recently felt stupid myself as well. I drove my car backwards in a ditch a few weeks ago in Italy. Bike carrier was still hanging on the back side of the car kids and my...
I ride the 2019 Levo with firmware 2.026 I guess you will ride with 2.019 as you are referring to bugs? Theoretically I would end up with 28,8km/h however sometimes in practice I see an overshoot until 31/32km/h but the support above 28,8km/h declines fast. I am fine with it as said it makes a...
