I noticed that too. However the cranks are just a lump of metal, the engagement is in the motor unit itself. Unless I’m missing something unique about the Fazua?
August would be my guess at the earliest. Given the noises they made about the SL motor on the launch of the Levo SL it doesn’t seem possible they’d go Brose for the new one but who knows at this point.

The original quoted figures for the Fazua motor are more like a regular full fat motor (which it doesn’t deliver on!) however if we lower expectations to a well delivered lower output closer to the SL can they deliver then?
I take what ebike-mtb.de say about German companies with a pinch of...
It will be very interesting to see how this pans out. The SL is really an improvement on the packaging idea that the Fazua motor opened up. If the Fazua can start to match some of the SL’s promise then this opens things up to other smaller manufacturers. That has to be healthy.
Not sure I’m convinced by the write up but it does sound like it could be an improvement. Maybe better for the road bikes that have these?

Interesting to see that now the 36 is positioned as their ‘All Mountain’ fork and now goes down to 150mm.
The SL is a nice take on packaging for an EMTB. The tech isn’t sufficiently advanced but by making a different set of compromises the bike suits a certain, significant it seems, subset of riders.
The motor itself is what, 1kg lighter? So next Levo with current full fat config and this motor and...
From what I’ve seen apparently the dhx2 has had a big price jump. Let’s see when UK prices confirmed and available.
Whether anyone needs the new shiny things is up for debate of course. Also it’s not like Fox have no competition. The Lyrik was already cheaper than the 36.

I think I’d rather something like this with a tent and kit attached. You could keep the load low down then. You could also use it to go to the supermarket :)
