Focus owners; check your Novatec rear axle tightness!

I hope you got something other than same Novatec low end rubbish. D462SB-B12 for example uses the same hub shell but it has a better freehub assembly. Easy to swap internals / replace entire hub. I threw my hub to bin and replaced it with Shimano XT microspline hub. I got good excuse to...

    Review ESI Grips

ESI:s are easy to rip when falling but there's a remedy to that --> ODI bar ends ( or any other a bit bigger plug than those currently supplied with ESI:s.) You can smash those ODI:s quite a bit and they will get ugly but your ESI:s are still safe :)

    Wheel building - what hub?

What tool is required to service Pro4 hub? The freehub seal tool maybe? Unanswered Canyon Spectral On 8.0 problem

If you do not want to install the app or go to a bike shop then find another bike with same switch and connect it to your unit briefly for a test.

What's crack with bar change sam2

You can change the handlebar to whatever you like. Only downside with ordinary handlebar is that you lose that hidden sleek look. I did not want cables hanging so I bought Shimanos PRO branded riser bar that is made for Di2 setup.

New Booster Battery system compatible with all major motor brands

How much 250 wh eBooz pack weights? I'm thinking about getting one and a good bottle cage that is strong enough to withstand impacts. Focus bottle cage mount should endure a lot of beating so that's not worrying.

Focus owners; check your Novatec rear axle tightness!

There's a good chance that these Novatec rear hubs are the culprit. Threadlock will "cure" the issue of unwinding but the freehub is still suffering from poor adjustment. Grease used in the hub is also poor suited for the job. Corrosion resistance is nonexistent if rusting starts in few days...

Focus owners; check your Novatec rear axle tightness!

Hello! I got a Focus JAM2 few days ago and noticed this same effect of rear axle loosening. I stripped the whole Novatec rear hub apart and probably figured out why the rear axle is coming loose. Hub bearings are cartridge bearings as usual but the freehub uses Shimano style cup/cone bearings...
