3 things come first.
- A loose weight if you can
- Use proper PSI
- Ask around for proper tires for what you do and where you ride.
than
make sure your suspension is properly adjusted.
spend time looking at youtubes videos, learn to climb, etc...
spend i month riding no internet other than...
Well i allmost said trust me but you can have doubts.
The thing is a 30,000 kms trouble free car used to be normal.
A motorcycle is just smaller.
An Ebike again smaller.
Yamaha was first in the Electric motor for 2 wheels.
They know what they do.
I have read 2016 Yamaha owners saying their...
I agree but i just wish they used shorter chainstay to be more for my style of riding. Also last year it seemed they only imported some of the Emodels. Will they offer an Efatbike?

The first post i made on this thread were about my Haibike/Yamaha, the other is not my bike. I think mine is about 3,475kms now
I ride very often. Without a car i pedal to the trails and back. A nice network here includes some wide trails(crosscountry ski) some narrow trails(snowshoes) and some singletracks. The more i know the trails the faster i go. After 90 minutes i sometimes feel like i spent time in a washing...
Why are you asking people to think?
They are renting smart phone
they do not need to think
older than 2 is too old
they sure do not want a 2017 proven reliable bike
they want flashy mirrors
oh and aps
it s the new drug
You might be able to buy a seatpost with more setback.
You need to be able to climb, keep the front wheel down so it is allways about testing what works in your unique situation. Hopefully you will find a way to be confortable sitting and standing. I like a light front wheel but there are no...
With your weather a + Ebike makes sense. I am in Quebec, got lucky, last 3.5 months i enjoy Haibike/Yamaha 2017(it was unsold). No problem, very good range 500 Wh now 3,473kms. On 40 mm front 3,0x27.5 Chronicle, rear Rekon 3C 2.8
Well i know for myself i do like the simplicity and light weight of HT. Last year i was on 29 with tiny rims, 2.3 tires and i prefer this year 2.8/3.0x27.5 on 40 mm. If i go to 29 it would be 30 mm 2.6 but everyone has to try and decide. I started enjoying expert trails and i appreciate the...
This is my first + bike. I was curious, wanted to try different tires. I put and ad and my 3.0 was traded for a Rekon 2.8 Luckily i love that tire, fast with enough grip for where i ride. Also to avoid pedal strikes i switched from 175 to 165 mm arms and love that too.
