First off, what the heck is an FF Ebike?? I've never understood that term. FF = flatulent ferret? fat floozey?
FP I could understand for Full Power, but FF???
Someone please enlighten me.
I do ride with the power off at rare times. It rides great. It's a bit heavier than my SC 5010, but...
The Bullit is max power at 85Nm vs the Rise at 60Nm, correct? If your puling 85Nm on the Bullit compared to 60Nm on the Rise, that would make some sense that they were fairly close on range. I assume the Bullit felt like it had a lot more assist than the Rise, correct? Either way, that's a...
Yeah. Summer here is brutal. I agree that humans aren't meant to live in these conditions either. That's why God gave us air conditioning. I live in Vegas and I'm used to it, but that doesn't mean I like it. I ride early mornings if I can, but often I'll go for a ride in the early evening...
You guys are a lot tougher than me. Human beings are not meant to live in those conditions. I lived in Norway for a few years so I know about cold, but even there it rarely got that cold. I prefer the nice warm desert. I'm going to ride this evening in shorts and a short sleeved jersey. Of...
You guys are a bunch of lightweights. :) I'm pushing about 196 lbs with my gear, hydration pack and water. I'm running 240 in the rear shock to get 30% sag.
Ice and Snow?!?! Yuck! Not to rub it in guys, but here's our weather for today.

My only complaint about the bike is getting those ugly stickers off the top tube. I tried peeling them off...no luck. Now I have to find some solvent that will get them and the adhesive off. Come on Orbea, put the plastic ones on that peel off easily.
Unfortunately, very true, but this is a family friendly forum so no need to discuss the specific delicate details. I do think I'd leave my chain mail athletic supporter home that day though.
Exactly! Scales don't all have perfect accuracy. There are many factors in weighing things too. If the relative humidity is high, (unlike where I live that is very dry) the bike will weigh heavier due to the added moisture in the air that accumulates on the bike and even in the tires. It can...
I assume that these long waits are for the MYO program of custom paint etc. Correct? I got a Rise that was a standard paint and build. There is no way I could wait 6-9 months. I'd spontaneously explode from the anxiety. I was at the shop yesterday with my son picking up his Wild and the owner...
Sorry to hear that. I think bike dealers are learning from contractors. "We'll have your house done in four weeks"....three months later, same time estimate.... four more weeks. Hopefully not any longer for you.
I did, but I think it messed with my bikes DNA. It turned it into this:
It does climb a bit better now.
Actually, no, I haven't done it. I didn't even know it was out there.
