I would like to try a different set of wheels on my levo but need to transfer the cassette. As I have never done anything like this, which tools should i get
?
So i too want to join the 27.5" wheel club. I am looking at dt swiss h 1700 spline . The are supposedly beefy wheels specifically for high torque bikes. For tires i'd go 2.8in rear 2.6 in front. I don't really know much esoterica, but I imagine I need 'boost' sizing for the levo? and what about...
The complexity of the adjustments on the messer scares me a bit. I don't ride enough to really tune the thing, let alone take it apart. One user of the mezzer took it apart and made comments about the nut being only finger tight, etc..

My intent is to lower the tire pressures. I tried dropping to 20 psi and I liked the increased traction. With the benefit of motor assist, I can do climbs now that always had me getting off the bike to walk uphill. I can finally understand all about shifting your weight to balance direction...
so i am also reading about wheels- i know nothing really--only what i read in places like this. Will these wheels work?

They seem a little narrow but the price is right. Though there is this fine print

Can the stock butcher tires be run tubeless? Or is it not recommended? I see a lot of threads about maxis dhf in the front and dhr2 in the rear. But here in New England we mostly have single track (unless you go to a ski hill) and maybe those tires are overkill so maybe I’ll just stay with stock...
yes, I know it's expensive. I have a Gx drivetrain so it would be a significant cost. But the idea of downshifting through the whole cassette flawlessly in the face of a rapidly approaching steep or obstacle intrigues me. No need to slow down as the shifting happens a lot faster. With the...
