Yep, but I have to push really hard to hit 40 or more. Highest gear, I’ve got to exceed 95 rpm cadence. The Levo doesn’t exceed 40kph easily, even in Turbo with the speed limit set to 48. Is yours different?
Oh ya! It’s incredible! Makes the bike a ton of fun on flat paved roads too. You can rip up the trails and then fly home. Totally recommended and awesome.
@JeffMcD why don’t you use Blevo? I just tried it... AWESOME!!! Can easily exceed 40 km/hr/25mph. It’s a totally different ride. I bought the Levo because I wanted to be able to duck out for a 1-2 hour break from work and zip to my local trail. Having a proper top end makes it possible. And it’s...
Thanks! Can’t wait to experiment tomorrow.
BTW, I’m not worried about warranty at all, here’s why: the speed limit is imposed by local policies, not by hardware limitations. In many markets, such as in the UAE, there is no eBike speed limit.
And I’m sure Specialized does not know if you have...
Does anyone know what the latest motor and battery firmware versions are?
I bought the bike and use it in Canada, which should mean top motor speed is 20mph/31kph, correct? My SW Turbo Levo seems to top out at ~26kph.
Thanks
Thank you. Yeah, I guess it’s fine. It’s just that given the sealing issues that some have experienced, it doesn’t seem like a good design to leave those gaps around the cap.
Sure, but can’t find it online. This is in the separate charger manual. There’s a small yellow ! mark that says to wait 8 hours/overnite after a full charge before riding.
Probably a battery temp issue. Seems really stupid/conservative.
Just picked up my Turbo Levo on Saturday. The cap / power connector that covers the charger port doesn’t seem to fit flush with the surrounding frame parts. Is that how it’s supposs to be? The cap makes electrical content, as I can turn the bike on, but the connector is not flush with the frame.
Hi, I just read the charger manual for my Turbo Levo and noticed it says that Specialized recommends you wait 8 hours/overnight after charging the batt fully before riding. I hope that is just for the first use?!
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought it is not a normal SRAM shifter, but a Specialized replacement that only allows 1 gear change at a time -- except for the S Works model, which has the SRAM XX1 shifter.
Yes, I understand that. Tori said that earlier firmware limited it to 15-17mph but that has now been corrected to 20mph.
I’m in N America. Does anyone know if v5 is the latest firmware? I assume it’s the motor firmware.
