I think the angle of the outer blocks is to push any water outwards. Running it backwards would theoretically push water into the centre of the tyre which would decrease traction and braking effectiveness.
I wouldn't drive a truck on the motorway in the wet with backwards tyres but a bike in...
2% per month is considered normal depreciation from an accountancy perspective.
The warranty has a higher value in an ebike than it does in more established technologies.
With the motor industry there are "franchised dealers" these are obliged to complete warranty repairs and are fully compensated for the work - this is required for motor vehicles as they can be very dangerous if not in full working order. The motor industry has Block Exemption from EU free trade...
I've always got good warranty through my lbs with Trek, fork lowers replaced and rebuilt after some stiction issues.
My Bontrager dropper has play too - bugs me a little when I see it but I've never noticed it while riding so never bothered getting it looked at.
I get the same issue - it's the leaves and twigs that get stuck in the mud and then dragged through the whole drive line. Stopping every half hour to pull crud from the derailleur, chain guide and chainring is the only solution I've found.
I had my forks sent back to rockshox recently by my lbs for a warranty issue.
Dropped them off 3 weeks ago on a Friday, got a call on the Monday to say SRAM would take 10 days before they could look at them. A week later the shop called to say they are back with new lowers and fully serviced...
Just checked mine again and I'm actually 3 clicks above the smallest setting, so it will accomodate 59cm.
I see the nubs you mean but they don't affect me, the back fits flat against my neck and doesn't move too much when I look up or down.
Luckily I was able to try it on before I bought it in...
I have a Tyrant but in large as my head is 60cm. Mine fits really well near the smallest setting. It has a good range of adjustment, mine looks a little big on me as I'm at the smallest end of the adjustment. I have the MIPS version, not sure if this increases the outer size compared to the non...
Tell me to mind my own business if you like but I can't help but notice how many bikes you have bought and subsequently sold this year, each is a higher spec than the last one.
You must have lost thousands in depreciation.
Reminds me of my missus with shoes....
