Anyone know the algorithm for remaining distance?

The range will change dependant on wich mode you are currently in - just in case you weren't aware.

No way I can get a 2.5 DHF front tyre on rim. Anyone done this?

I removed the tubes and went tubeless and yesterday replaced my tyres all without removing the bontrager tape. It's tricky but doable by hand. You need to grab the bulk of the tyre with 2 hands and drag the last section over the rim - don't try and push it bit by bit with your thumbs but drag...

Knock-Block failed - Trek Rail 9.8 carbon frame damage

Who inspected the failed knock block components? What is to suggest there is not material or manufacturing defect in the failed components? I wouldn't be letting this go without answers to the above questions. Perhaps Twitter is the best place to seek answers. Trek describe their warranty as...

    Shoulder injuries

I broke a collar bone 20 years ago going otb doing an endo on a bmx and landed from a vertical upside down position on my left shoulder. I have to consciously keep it strong or it will partially dislocate on its own and give discomfort until I build strength back up. I still can't sleep on my...

Is there a point, where a healthy diet isn't?

This is true, but, the problem with this approach is that after initial sucess the metabolism can slowly decrease making your calorie defecit reduce (sometimes to zero) i.e. if you reduce your intake to say 1,800 calories per day and your metabolism slows from 2,500 to 2,000 or 1,800, then you...

Unanswered walk-assisting a bike up steep stairs ?!

I attempted some steep, slippery and narrow steps - the kind where a wood board is staked down vertically to trap mud into a staircase in a steep bank. Walk mode was a pain, the bike was always either ahead of me or behind constantly throwing me off balance. Halfway up I picked up the bike and...

    Dropper post care

Perhaps this would keep it cleaner but it is bad practice as the cylinder is charged and will almost certainly cause leaks or reverse charge at some point.

    2021 Whyte

I've just seen a Whyte medium frame at Leisure Lakes in Daventry with the exact same issue, not sure if this is your old frame or it's a common problem. The bike I saw was being built up for a customer

    Not funny

Sorry for your loss. There was a story this week about 118 stolen bikes found in a single house in Hackney - makes my blood boil.

    Ebike eating chains

What is your average cadence? Modern Shimano and Sram chains are supposedly designed to be shifted under load and whilst some mechanical sympathy goes a long way I believe too high a gear all of the time will decrease chain life as much as shifting under load.
