Dropped my motor and checked if there's any issue with the cables / wiring. Found nothing and reassembled everything. Started working again - 30 min test ride full boost, no random shut offs!

Keep me posted. Unfortunately, my purchase was done online, so I don't have a LBS to warranty.

Update: Issue still happening even after cleaning the magnet and speed sensor. Will drop motor next.

LOL - right off the bat I can see that the cup and cone spacer is NOT suppose to be between the brake and adapter. It should be in this order: bolt, cup & cone, brake, adapter spacer, fork.

Running Onyx Vesper on mine which is instant engagement. Pairs well with the the EP8's re-engagement of the crank and IMO reduces the sound as there's a "soft squishy - but not really noticeable" instant engagement.

Curious - how does the Rise come packaged from the distributor? Is everything absolutely disassembled including battery and motor separate from frame? Is it completely IKEA style where full assembly is required or some assembly?

My h30 wheelset came in as follows - but this is with tubes and tires, so makes sense the wheelset without those are close to that range: Front Wheel + Dissector (no rotors): 2150g Rear Wheel + Rekon (no cassette or rotors): 2370g Post some photos of your wheelset maybe they are different?

Great thank you for your input. I was looking at the Magicshine ME 2000 e-Bike Headlight which is rated for 2k lumens at 12v, so i was hoping this would work out. However I am deterred from doing this now especially with the PC + cable thing and dropping the motor to get to the connectors.
