As soon as you start riding your bike a bit harder on trails and bikeparks chances are that the motor-bearings wear quickly.
If you don't pay attention to this the motor might get damaged.
I ruined my PW-X (1000km) in another way: The chain jumped off while I was pedaling uphill with maximum...
Went to Baiersbronn in the black forest.
Superb tour there, called T6 (typical German... no sense of humour).
Boy, that was fun.
Trails that go up and down... perfectly made for eMTBs.
Here's the vid:
In the description of the video you'll find a link to a longer vid with all the trail...
There are two double beds in the van.
One is above the garage and the second one sits over the front (table, kitchen, seats). This one can be lowered down electrically.
I jumped a 2.5 metre Kicker.
Almost shat my pants when I got on the ramp.
Felt like a rocketship after take off.
Expected a bomb dive in the mud but landed surprisingly smooth.
The landing gave me the balls to try it again.
Jumped that kicker one hour long... what a fun day it was.
Could have...
Maybe ?
Three Haibikes in the house here.
All Yamahas.
One motor failed... out of warranty.
Peter Collard made it like new for a few quid.
Not a single issue with the rest.
And I own an Allmtn7 ? and it gets treated badly...
If anyone with no experience reads this thread, I'm pretty sure he'll stick to his old naturally aspirated bike.
This thread is also an interesting display of characters and mindsets.
Keep on...
If you have your bike upside down and pull the lever, chances are that air might be sucked in.
This happens through the reservoir.
This small reservoir is needed to advance the pistons automatically when pads wear.
So if you flip the bike make sure not to pull the levers.
Same applies for MotoCross bikes.
For almost the same price you get a bike that lasts decades.
You can clean it with a jet-washer... no probs.
Diving through a river? Yes, of course!
Compared to MotoCross bikes the eBikes are well behind.
With eBikes you have to take so much care and the...
That's right for all manufacturers.
Every make has its problems and issues.
There is no exception.
With the above said, what would you buy then? And what do you expect from another brand? No problems? ?
Agree. All eBikes are way overpriced.
But if you want one now, you have to pay the...
Every technical device can break.
Haibike sold many (I mean many many) Allmtn7 with the same specs, including mine.
I'm not a pro but my Allmtn7 has a hard time with me, as I jump around, go downhill very often and push uphill to beat my previous times.
Still everything runs flawlessly on my...
Almost all ebike motors have three spots where they are vulnerable for water ingress:
The two bearings where the axle goes out and the part where all the wiring comes out of the motor.
The Allmtn7 has these vents at the front and Haibike claims that they are good for keeping the battery and...
That's hard stuff!
I'm an instructor myself (no, not MTB) and well insured.
Imagine trying to motivate people to learn sth new by leaving their comfort zone (which is necessary in this kind of sport) and then you get sued because you do your work.
Strange times we live in...
Would be...
