Maybe an Haibike Full FatSix is more readily available in Canada?
But I can understand you want something else than a fat bike. (actually no, I don't...
You have a 10-speed cassette? So the 10-speed chain must work, any of them.
I see now that it's a Bosch motor. This small sprocket wears faster, I have to replace it at the same time as the chain.
Water crossing as with the motor under water may lead to issues. More mechanical (bearings) than electric I would think.
In the right conditions, something like this may happened: All new lighter, 'Brose Drive S Mag' motor announed
But there is clearly something wrong with the design of the...
I would think it's the output power. It's the significant data for the user.
But again it's the maximum continuous rated power, i.e. a power that the motor can deliver "indefinitely".
There are 2 "sides", the electrical input and the mecanical output.
To generate a current you must apply a voltage. So the electrical power[W] = voltage[V] * current[A].
In an electrical motor torque is more or less a direct relation to current.
On the other "side" you get the mecanical...
We should start a new thread about this bike.
The look is one thing but the weight gain is really impressive. IMO this is the direction eMTB will take in the future, less weight with (maybe) less power and autonomy.
