Sizing and geometry are critical. Most ebikes are too short in reach numbers, too long in chain stays and too steep in head angles.
The SAM2 has good geo and Shimano, but is not available in XL.
Many prefer the standard size front chainring like Brose and Shimano unlike Bosch which uses a...
My US spec Meta Power assist cuts off at 18 mph. Verified speed with phone gps. Seems odd that Shimano and Brose have the same speed limit. At some point, I will follow up with Commencal.
I was interested in the eMax sensor which is no longer available. It looked like a direct replacement of the stock sensor.

I may stand corrected, checked mine again and it cuts out at 20mph. Just updated the firmware and saw some notes, but it looks like it's minor. I also noticed the e tube app uses location. Maybe a GPS spoofer app would work.

Sounds like the chain is skipping on the sprocket. Is your chain wear in spec? Is your b tension correct? Is your chain too long?
I adjusted the b screw and shortened the chain on mine.
I like my RS race. Make sure the sizing suits you. I pre-ordered an XL, changed it to a L after reviewing the seat tube lengths, then changed it back to an XL. I figured I could cut the seat tube 10mm if needed, but I used a thin seat and it's perfect.
I found the red 2019 lyrik r2c available for special order on Mountain Bikes, Components, Apparel & More | Worldwide Cyclery
April was stated as being the release time, so the kits should be available soon.
Thanks for the reply. That is the stock picture from Commencal's website. Mine has the same issue. Since Commencal tilts the motor forward in the frame, the factory chain guide it slightly out of position. It seem Shimano over tightened the isg bolts. I do not want to strip these.

I like the specs on the new red lyrik rc2. A few key upgrades (damper and spring) over the 2018 lyrik rct3 that came with my bike. I may buy the new style air spring in 170mm.
I had to go down to a 28 on my stumpjumper 11 speed for climbing.
I hit the speed limit on every ride with a 34 and rarely use the lowest gear. I have no need to change it at this time.
The shuttle was euro only, now available in the states. It seems overpriced and only 140mm rear travel.
I am interested to hear how they compare. Make sure you try each power mode on both bikes when on the demo.
Personally, I hate backpacks. Find a storage solution on your bike. I use a small saddle bag for tools and a backcountry research strap for a water bottle.
