At 6'1", I was conflicted between an Meta XL and L. I am very happy that I went with the XL that has a 481 reach. The 160 has similar geo, you might be happy with the XL if you can get the seat tube length to work. At 6', there is no way you should consider a medium.

It does sound like an internal motor issue, like a one way bearing or belt slipping.
Going forward, a new chain on old sprocket and cassette could slip under power. Typiclly chains and sprockets should be replaced as the same time since they wear at similar rates. Some high mile riders rotate...
I had the same creaking issue in the middle gears and resolved it with a little grease. Take the cassette off and grease the spacer. The spacer is captured, so it's a bit tricky to clean and grease it.
You probably don't want to use your fox 34 at 140. At a minimum, get a 150 air shaft to keep stock geo. Ideally, you want a 36 to deal with the extra weight.
You will enjoy it either way and never want to ride anything else.
OEM green tape is still working fine after hundreds of miles tubeless with the original tires. I had a slow leak and found the valve to be a bit loose.
What spares and tool kits do you ride with?
After 25 years of riding without tools, I ordered a F15 and a Klic HV from Crankbrothers. The multi-tool will fit in the saddle bag with the phone and keys. The Mutherload strap that I use for a water bottle will also hold the pump. Still need to...

"you will be able to use the latest version of e-tube project if you update the operating system on your device."
Finally got it to connect after resetting the passcode using a sm-pce1.
So far, the only thing I needed for the ebike was a mutherload strap for a water bottle. No specialty tools required. I've only had one mechanical on the trail, but now looking for a tool kit, since I am riding farther than ever before. I'll probably get the oneup edc and pump.
"Specifically, the right-side top cap on some forks may not be adequately torqued, which in some cases, may lead to the top cap working itself free through riding."
Stick a wrench on it to see if it's tight to spec. That's all that's needed. No need to send the fork out.
Do these fork not...
Pretty there is a circuit to prevent non-shimano batteries. It would likely throw a E022 fault code.
If you have a failed battery pack, you could most likely replace the cells.
My car didn't come with a hitch, so I bought one that fit so I can use a Thule T2. Careful on roof rack weight limits.
