    Run on after stopping peddling

That’s the only time I use it, on trials type rocky climbs where a pedal kick is enough with the overrun to get up awkward ledges n steps.

    Run on after stopping peddling

It should only do it in turbo. It’s not something I personally like. You can increase the assist level in trail if you would like more ooompf without the overrun.

    What Pressure Washer

I have had to replace a spray head which cracked when it froze up in my van over the winter. I think most complaints are from folk who try to remove the pump from the tank to use the stand alone feature and break it putting it back together. At least with the Aqua2Go you can buy all the parts...

Hey dudes. MTB YouTuber and soon to be E-Bike owner.

Watched quite a few of your vids in the past. Will be cool to see you on an ebike. You going to carry on with the Canyon as well?

    What Pressure Washer

I have an Aqua2go. Has its own built in battery & can run off 12v. It is a water spray rather than jet wash so no issues with bearings etc. Bit pricey but we use it as a water supply when camping. Holds enough water to do a quick spruce of 4 bikes in winter mud or a better job of 3 bikes.

Flat, thin wide ebike pedals - what you using?

The Catalyst pedals arrived with quite a fanfare. After an ankle injury I found I was automatically using the technique for climbing to reduce strain on tendons & muscles. For descending I always return to the regular position on the pedals for boosting & pop. While the concept is...

    EMTBs with mixed size wheels

Thanks, that’s not helping[emoji12] buy, buy, BUY!![emoji23] The reduced head angle is an added advantage. Have a 160mm airshaft kicking about somewhere too......

    EMTBs with mixed size wheels

If you are happy with running the same width tyre front and rear there is no point looking at a smaller dia rear wheel. If increasing air pressure in the front tyre doesn’t result in the squirm control you are looking for a narrower front tyre (2.35” Schwalbe/ 2.5”Maxxis) mixed with a 27.5”...

Flat, thin wide ebike pedals - what you using?

If you haven’t pulled the trigger yet have a good look at the OneUp Component pedals. I have them on my Enduro bike. With pins they are thinner than just the body of the Hope Pedals on my ebike (which will be getting replaced for the reasons you gave) The only pedals I have seen close to the...

    That’s better

I do like the positive operation of the original shifter it’s just a bit ‘chintzy’. Wonder if the XTR one is any better.

    Tubeless Woes

That’s not very helpful is it? Have you checked if those holes go right through to the rim? They probably just go to a chamber in the profile. If that is the case the air is getting around or through the tape or around the valve into the chamber the spoke & valve pass through. If you get it...

Anyone tried the Focus Jam2 Plus LTD?

As long as the seat tube doesn’t end up too high a larger frame gives you options and benefits if your riding is towards the Enduro end of the scale. Longer more stable wheelbase, the option to use a shorter stem to improve steering feel and brings your body weight between the wheels. A smaller...

Anyone tried the Focus Jam2 Plus LTD?

That was good advice[emoji1360] I normally ride large and had no regrets getting the XL.

    Pivot Shuttle Review

Nice review Rob! DW suspension sits much higher in its travel than 4 bar systems like the Levo which probably explains fewer pedal strikes than expected. Probably get away with the standard cranks and some thin pedals like Crank Bros Stamps or OneUp pedals. Maybe next time you try a bike with...

    Tubeless Woes

If they are still going down overnight after a couple of rides you probably want to take them off and have a look. Make sure the tape hasn't got screwed up next to the valve by overzealous tightening. This leads to leaks round the valve and/or through the spoke holes as it allows the fluid...

Join us! EMTB Forums UK Monthly Rideout - Sunday 1st July, Surrey Hills.

I rode there on my clockwork bike the backend of last year and wasn’t that enamoured. The ebike would put a different complexion on it though I’m sure.
