Anyone tried the Focus Jam2 Plus LTD?

Maybe they have done that with the newer 29” Factory, the original 27+ Factory is a 150mm Yari. Had mine in bits to install a Luftkappe.

Gopro Hero 7: What PC editing software are you using, and why?

You really need to think how far you want to go with your videos. There is definitely a case for basic software like GoPro Studio and its ilk as they are quick & easy to use and you are far more likely to continue producing content. With the heavyweights, you might produce one ace, original...

Anyone tried the Focus Jam2 Plus LTD?

The originalJam2 Factory comes with a 150mm fork and rides well. Don’t think an extra 10mm will hurt it. I have a 160mm air shaft kicking around but have not tried it.

Gopro Hero 7: What PC editing software are you using, and why?

If you know Resolve why not just stick with that? It does titles, you can do picture in picture etc and like you mentioned colour correction is second to none.

Gopro Hero 7: What PC editing software are you using, and why?

Really getting into Lumatouch on the iPad. Far more features than you would think possible on a tablet or phone. You can add LUT’s, do green screen, uses key framing for effects and titling. 3 video tracks, 3 audio tracks, 4K 60 FPS and about £25. Used FCP, Resolve, and the usual GoPro...

Gear ratio and power use/battery life

You seem to be mixing a few things up here. The different motors are most efficient at different cadence rates. The original Yamaha worked well at the lower end Bosch at the higher end, Brose & Shimano somewhere in the middle. All the systems give a ‘background’ assist level dependent on the...

Gear ratio and power use/battery life

I find the opposite, I tend to put more force on the pedals if I go slow and grind. The power meter of the motor sees this force and applies more assistance potentially up to the maximum level. If I drop to a lower gear and start to spin fast I cannot apply the same force so the motor assists less.

Gear ratio and power use/battery life

If you are trying to get duration from the battery keep the power bar along the bottom of the display and minimise the amount of time it is climbing up the right hand side. Lower gear and spinning keeps things running longer. [emoji1360]

    Greno/Wharncliffe

If you are new to mtb in general stick to the Grenoside side of the road. Pub Run is a good place to start and there is lots to do on Steel City DH just watch out for the odd gap jump on there you might want to bypass. Greno is pretty hardy as far as the weather goes which is an added bonus...

Charging different bikes with the same charger. Bad?

I don’t know if you have tried a multimeter as per Swissrob’s suggestion, on the Focus you will not get a reading on the main voltage pins of either the bike or the charger. I spent a lot of time trying to be able to use my fancy lithium RC chargers for my bike so I wouldn’t have to use an...

    Replacement cassette

Is there something up with the current one? More basic cassettes are popular on ebikes as they are usually made of more durable long lasting materials which handle the higher torque and extended use. Really you need to say what you have on your bike already, Shimano/SRAM, 8, 11 or 12 spd...

Anyone used a drone to film ?

McTrailRider uploaded a video of using the Mavic Pro 2. Obstacle avoidance has very limited use. If you try and fly in proximity of stuff it stops you early or makes your footage jerky unless you are going really slow. In a lot of flight modes the functionality is reduced not to mention it...

Anyone used a drone to film ?

If you mean in follow me mode yes I have. I wouldn’t do it through trees relying on obstacle avoidance.
