McTrailRider uploaded a video of using the Mavic Pro 2.
Obstacle avoidance has very limited use.
If you try and fly in proximity of stuff it stops you early or makes your footage jerky unless you are going really slow. In a lot of flight modes the functionality is reduced not to mention it limits your available speed.
In short, keep the flight modes to wide open spaces. If there is potential for collisions you need to be on the sticks, the downside, you are never in your own film!!
I’ve had a mavic Pro and now a mavic air. The tracking is pretty shit as far as I’m concerned. Looses you if you are moving quick and doesn’t go downhill (keeps a constant height so you get further away). The obstacle avoidence is alright but if you want to follow someone you nearly need it turned off so you can go fast enough. I’m thinking of getting rid and learning to fly a racing drone instead with a gopro on it for filming so you can fly between trees fast, like this video
