Enjoy that new bike it looks great! Take your time and enjoy doing what you're comfortable riding. There's no harm in getting off if need be, much better than getting hurt. These eMTB's are a game changer IMHO.
Ordered a 10 piece set 7-40. I've ran into these before but can't recall what it was? They're becoming more common. Bosch has a thing about keeping stuff proprietary but as with anything over time we'll find a way.
This subject has a ton of variables. Think each rider needs to consider the conditions, maintenance, cost and even how you ride as factors. What's good for one may not be the same for another. On the flip side, these days it's not that easy to buy "what you want" vs "what you can find."
My curiosity and OCD nature had me all ready to dive into this since it's always good to know how shit ticks. Glad you mentioned the details before I realized what was needed. Drives me crazy when manufactures do stuff to make maintenance difficult or proprietary. I've dealt with Bosch in...
My 2021 Rail 7 has some play developing in it. Pretty noticeable although it does work OK. Would like to replace with something that has more drop than 130mm. Thinking OneUp 180.
Sounds like a little shop time is in order. Is this just for carbon frame bikes or ALU also? Need to get in and give a once over anyway. eMTB's are definitely more maintenance intensive but IMO the fun factor is worth it. Sorry for @Richiefromboston troubles! Shit, reading through the...
Based on what just happened to @Mikerb and a few others here this seems to make a ton of sense. Better than insurance which comes up pretty regularly as well. Have used this tech for finding my phone a few times and it's amazing!
Know this kind of thing happens the world over but was listening to a podcast by a guy I follow from the UK called TeaPotOne "Bru Time." He did couple of shows describing how moto thieves would surround a rider using scooters and physically take the bike. Some used knives or other crude...
We knew Giant would get serious and looks like they have. My biggest question is the Yamaha motor and how it compares to Bosch? Really like how the Bosch performs but I'm not very experienced with any other brands.
Beeline Moto Beeline - smart navigation for bikes | Beeline The phone app uses Google Maps and it's easy to plan routes, save and alter. It even redirects if you want to change course mid-ride. Multiple mounts let you use it on motorcycles or bikes super easy. Small footprint on the bars.
While it might seem impossible for this to happen most eMTB's are twice the weight of analog bikes and they often need to stop at higher speeds. Braking force is all about heat (btu's) at the pads and rotor. Those rotor bolts can take tremendous abuse from those of you "go fast" riders from...
Glad it worked out OK and you didn't need to be reassembled. With wire and bone in my neck speaking from experience. Then you rode it out and that's what deserves applause! 👏 Love your sense of humor @Bobbobby
