The pro & race versions are fitted with the e version of a Fox 36 so 160mm is the max travel. The guts on the air side are Fox 34 so they could beef up the stanchions. The base model Yari can have the travel increased up to 180mm??

I’m interested to hear @CCCC I spent a while trying to get one of my fancy RC chargers hooked up so I didn’t need an inverter to charge from a leisure battery. Couldn’t get my head round the CAN bus on the RoPD connector. You recon it’s just a case of 5v across the data pins?

The caps needing to be installed seems daft. Having said that the only times my cranks have worked their way off is when I have previously taken the cap out to use a crank stand and forgotten to put it back in. Cue crank dropping off yesterday ?

You are right there. The native Shimano batteries are covered for two years like the motor.

My XL Factory plus will be up for sale in a couple of weeks. Is not pristine like a new bike but is a lot higher spec than the 9.6 you mentioned.

The Instagram post says available from the e-tube website so it is probably only the PC software which is immediately available. I guess the App will have to go through the usual Apple approval process.

I need to edit the title as yes it is mainly the app. There is a firmware update too. I may give it a go as I don’t need the other app for this bike.

I haven’t yet as have been messing with the other app and I think this update kills it. Interested to know what other improvements there are.
