Isn't the 500Wh about 3.1kg and 700Wh 3.8kg (you do the conversion). The difference of 0.7kg is pretty much the same as weight difference between 40x18650 cells (500Wh battery) and 40x21700 cells (700Wh battery).
Easyfold folds [emoji16] Velospace has more space between bikes (25cm vs 22cm) and taller a-frame which makes securing bikes easier. If storage is no problem, get the Velospace. And it's cheaper.
Doesn't apply to biking. We're always looking into new bikes, gear & mods. Heck, 90% of this forum is about bike tech, and maybe 10% of actually riding bikes.
What was there to adjust?
The point of Kenevo is self-shuttling and climbing eats battery, so I hope it will have an option for 700Wh battery.
Anyway, this bike will probably be even more expensive than 3rd gen Levo. Non-motorized S-Works Enduro is £11.5k, so figure out from that :censored:
I really don't neee anything for my emtb, but wireless shifting and dropper would be cool.
Instead I need something for riding:
- a new gps unit to replace a broken one, maybe Garmin 520plus/530
- what I really, really want and need are trousers for a tall rider at 6'3". Been looking for years...
For even better turning radius it should have a 27.5 front wheel. Oh wait, current Kenevo already has it! But mullet seems to be the must have thing in 2021.
The good old ETT should be posted in geometry tables, so people would understand sizing a bit better. I went from XL Gen1 Levo to S5 2020 Kenevo. Reach increased 60mm. ETT increased 18mm, but I have a 18mm shorter stem on the Kenevo. So pedaling position is quite close to the old Levo. But...
The prototype can be seen in Leo Kokkonen's Instagram. Interesting looking swingarm. This bike will probably give S-Works Levo run for its money as the most expensive ebike.
Did they mention when these are available?
Anyway, the new Levo looks like they slapped a 29er fork on a Kenevo :-D Ok, not really, but it does look similar. As a current Kenevo owner I have no urge to "upgrade". But I do like microtune and new charging port.
Beer league enduro is the only place where ebikes would make sense. And that's where we are heading. And that's why EWS-E exists, to sell us middle aged guys stupid expensive, "race ready" ebikes.
I'm not asking much, a proper (12v) light output near the handlebar, thank you. External batteries for lights are always a hassle and uncharged when you need them for riding around town. For trail riding add helmet light.
I would not mind getting rid of the derailleur either.
Very nice review (y) What size (wheelbase) is that Haibike? I'm looking at this or the much bulkier Velospace XT. Problem is that my bikes are XL with long wheelbases (1322 for the Kenevo).
You made a wrong choice [emoji16] "Problem" with this EMTB stuff is that people are always running after the latest trends instead of just going out and ride.
