    Transporting your ebike.

That floor mat system holding the front forks is exactly what I'm looking for. Where did you get it?

Even with the wind behind you, uphill you've got no chance against those guys. We had a stage of the Vuelta a España finish here and the local lass who got the QOM did it on the back of a motor scooter. The rest of us have to make do with being at least 200 down the pecking order (1233rd in my...

It depends what's available where you are. I put a link in message #7 (above) to one that's popular here in Spain.

Have you used a foam core with the tubeless system? That would be a way to avoid the worst problem with tyre burp and also be able to ride home.

The Focus picture thread and mods made

That's bloody awful news. How and where? Any hope of a recovery? It was a truly lovely looking bike.

New England eMTBers - want to ride legally?

    Very interesting article.

To E, or not to E. That is the question.

One other thing: why not pack a fast charger to plug in while you are having your lunchtime pint/coffee? It's easy to drop the battery out of the Cube.

Why not play with Bosch's distance calculator? Everyone is different. We all have different weights, tyres, terrain, weather... the calculator lets you play with all of these. eBIKE RANGE ASSISTANT

I managed to mount these instruments of torture onto the wheels after a couple of failed attempts. You are dead right: you do need to get the side walls away from the bead and into the centre groove. Unfortunately with the wheel/tyre combination on my wife's bike, this was impossible until I...

Well this is going to be an interesting wait...

I know exactly what you mean. That wait is killing - especially as you get to the appointed day and it suddenly goes out another few weeks again. A German friend of mine did ask me to be understanding with Focus. His view is that it is a small company run by bike enthusiasts and so there...

So, basically the tube suffered a pinch flat. Looking at the diagram in the advert I can see how this can happen. The sidewall of the armour is thin and I can see how the wheel rim is going to snake bite a thin tube through the minimal cushioning. In all honesty, I think you are better off with...

One quick thought: do you have armour in both wheels? If so, what's the state of compression of the other one?

I look forward to your update. Having read your experience and the side of the box, I'm not sure I wouldn't have been better off going with Anaconda de Barbieri PNK, which is a tubeless foam insert for use with sealant. Being for the wife's bike, I was looking for the product with the least...

    Review Tannus tyre armour

The Tannus got delivered a few minutes ago and, reading the blurb on the outside of the box, made me think about your puncture problem. It would seem that the "armour" gets compressed and needs to be "regenerated" in warm sunshine or a steamy shower(!) with the tyres deflated. I see that you...

Just had notification that the Tannus Armour I ordered for the missus' bike arrives today. The whole reason for the purchase was the ability to ride flat, so I guess you've proved that one :)

Answered Which option is easier on the battery?

For the majority of EMTB motors on the market, I don't think the torque "curve" is flat. So it probably depends on which motor manufacturer and which version of their software as well.
