If you on a lower firmware it works. Mine was working until I did a firmware update on my gen2 and it stopped working.... they can make it work if your bike shop is willing to... most bike shops are not.

That Santa Cruz Vala with the 4bar is really adding complexity to my life. I think it's the best looking Santa Cruz so far. Had an Intense 5.5, a Tallboy 2 and 3, and must say not a fan of the VPP link. This changes everything. I see myself changing bike brands.

I do recommend getting the Stainless steel 24t ratchet. my 36t only lasted a week, the 24t has been going strong for about 3 months now. the 24T is ebike specific. even if you get a kit and keep it in your back pack. last thing you want it is it self destroying when you 20+K from home. th

Ok.. There will be a 110 NM motor ... but will only be for the S-works. (with bigger battery) They will all have same motor but performance will vary depending on the Tier. This way those with many pennies can get the big boy motor and the rest of us get the lower powered version.
