Other TPU2 mastermind on older levo

so I am going to swap my old tpu for the new version 2 mastermind, I know many have done this against specialized's wishes, but it works. Will I have to reset my mike mode settings? Will the app still read the bike or do I need a different pin or something?

If you on a lower firmware it works.
Mine was working until I did a firmware update on my gen2 and it stopped working.... they can make it work if your bike shop is willing to... most bike shops are not.
