Same here. If the CEF50 weight is true, its the way better option to spend the saved 600g for additional Wh! 😊

180 front and 170+ rear. Standard shock spec is 210 x 55, so only additional 8 mm stroke with the 216 x 63, at 2,6 ratio = 20,8 mm add. travel. The CC DB is equipped with a 450-550 lbs progressive spring - perfect matching the more linear suspension kinematics.

This would not bother me. In case I dont need the hole, I would DIY a holder for my phone using that as a mounting point. Perfect place to put the phone on this area of the top tube, I did this on my E10. Way more secure as on the handlebar, and very good visability!

This looks VERY progressive to me. Starting at a leverage ratio of 3.6 at beginning of stroke and ending with a leverage ratio of 2.5 at end of stroke. Compared to the E10: 3.1 to 2.6 according to chart attached. My takeaway: - Coil shock would be a better choice due to linear spring rate -...

Good to see that You are digging into the latest revision of the M510. Please keep us posted on - engine noise - engine performance/ cut out / PAS level power - battery attenuation Thanks in advance mate!

The 27.5 makes the difference, You can easily run the 180 fork with the 27.5 wheel and stay closed to 560 mm fork length. The 160 travel @ 560 mm in frame spec are referring to a 29 wheel. With my E10 that has basically the same recommended suspension specs I installed a 180 mm fork /29 wheel...

Thanks mate! So I‘ll give it a try as well. Would be interesting to get @Dado feedback on this new firmware. And it would be great if someone could upload it to GitHub 😊

Just to understand: Are You talking about controller rev „E“ or rev „I“ according to Github specifications? What firmware did You run before updating?

It’s really funny to see all feasible display and button options combined on that frame. Normally the DP-C245 CAN display (wrongly mounted on the left side of the handlebar) would be combined with the remote on the picture below…..

Just checked Aliexpress, and yes, that’s what You need. I‘m just not sure about the balancing function of this box, if this is able to balance 2 batteries with same voltage but different SoC. This would be good, to avoid any damage if You forget to charge both batteries before connecting. If...

Oh - significantly? Did You observe the max Watt/Amps available below 20/10%? Can it be adjusted with Besst Pro?

Did You test battery attenuation? Any power drop below 40/30/20/10% SoC?

No it’s not. If You dig into the homepage You can find its a single pivot. The linkage for damper actuation for sure adds stiffness, and may be an improved leverage ratio through the travel, but the rear wheel path remains circular around the pivot. Not a bad thing, but nothing exeptional or...

I don’t understand the hype on this Siryon bike. The suspension is a very simple medium high single pivot, with a complicated link added to activate the damper. The rest is good looking, but as @TCFlowClyde stated, I expect the CEF50 will provide way mare „bang for the buck“! Almost same weight...

SZZS specific CEF50-main thread (initial builds and troubleshooting related only)

Yes, but You need to be careful. You need an Y-split cable in parallel configuration. You need to install / connect the extender battery when both (frame and extender) battery are fully charged. Otherwise there will be a high current flowing from the higher voltage battery to the lower one, that...
