Quick review of my first round with new M510 V2 today. I‘m really happily surprised, looks like Bafang finally can compete with the big brands in regards of motor behavior. No cutouts, and a very natural feeling, translating Your pedal input into power assist. They renamed the 5 modes to Eco /...

It‘s called a sprag bearing / clutch, operating like the rear hub freewheel, but different technical solution. I doubt that this may cause a „knocking“ noise.

This shock is awesome! You can buy a progressive spring from Cane Creek for this one, like I use with my E10: 450-550 lbs. Valt Progressive Spring.

Thanks for the flowers mate 😊 ideed I investigated this in deep to get my opinion on that. Takeaway is, that the difference is almost not noticeable. There is a slight reduction of trail with the bigger offset, that should result in a livelier steering bahviour. But at a 130ish mm trail the...

Take the additional 3 lbs and go big! Pretty shure You regret the decision for the smaller battery, if no range extender is available.

I still use the firmware above and I’m happy with it. After power on wait 30 s with no load on the pedals. Then Your good to go and have fun! 😊

Decent Enduro Carbon Rims only save 2-300 g per wheelset compared to my favorite aluminum rim, DT FR560.

Got it. Thought You are talking about the upper area / swingarm clearance. You’re right, the lower mount clearance to seattube may cause a problem with coil.

The picture from side view is irritating. The gap between the swingarms is big, and I think there is way more space / clearnce than You expected from that misleading picture. I bet You can fit Your shock in easily, pointing the piggyback towards the headtube.

    Dengfu E10 - The CHEEB V1.0 - Discussion

If You like, check my earlier postings. I speced my size L E10 with mullet wheels, longer stroke coil rear shock to 170 mm rear travel, and installed a 180 mm fork. I don’t do 30ft gaps, but I run the bike in bikepark and rughest enduro conditions for almost 2 years now. Handles like a dream and...
