Wow, it worked! I would never have guessed at such an odd solution. Many thanks Rob!
FWIW, I updated a KSL and a Levo. The KSL had a Varia paired up, and the Levo had an HR sensor, Varia, and AXS paired up to it. None of these things were active at any time during any of the updates.
The KSL...
No luck getting the update to download on the Levo. Constantly fails between 4-26% during the update connection module phase. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app. No improvement. Any ideas?
Edit: Spoke to Specialized Rider Care this morning. They're seeing a history of errors between the...
Thanks. I have a pretty good idea of how power and torque are related. What I was trying to express (but perhaps the message was getting lost in the details) is that Bosch rewards as much cadence as possible in some modes but not in others. You kind of need to get to know each mode on its own...
Depends on a bunch of things. Reliability/defect issues aside, the Levo Gen 3 has a lot going for it. I just rode mine all over Mammoth Mountain on many of the same trails I've ridden regular enduro bikes for years and it was fine.
That said, the only place I felt compelled to use full turbo...
Apparently it's required for compliance with Swiss traffic laws.
In December 2021, the Federal Council decided to introduce new guidelines for e-bikes in road traffic. In accordance with the ordinance of the Federal Roads Office (FEDRO), all e-bikes must be equipped with a daytime light from 1...
You don't need to remove the mount at all if you can locate the bottle holder part. These links pertain to the Orbea Wild, but I assume they're just Bosch parts.

Your best bet is to do some research such as local forums / bike shops, etc. You can do fine in a lot of places in So Cal by keeping a low profile and respecting other trail users, but other places are openly hostile, so it's best to know which is which beforehand.
Unfortunately, the patchwork...
Here's the next step in the story:

TLDR: Group sues National Park Service for not following process when it allowed e-bikes on lands in their jurisdiction. The judge ordered...
I had a weird problem today on my Levo. I use a Garmin 830 paired to the Levo ANT+ sensors. Today the speed reported by the Garmin was pretty consistent nonsense, reporting 15.5 to 16.0 mph regardless of my actual speed (I was climbing at ~4-8mph). This never happened before.
I tried rebooting...
As far as flat pedals go, I don't see the need for anything fancier than Oneup composite pedals. There are thinner and lighter pedals out there, but viewed as a whole including value, grip, durability, and spare parts availability, they're top notch.
I made the change probably around last August give or take, so it's been awhile. I haven't been to a dealer since then so if it's a dealer controlled parameter I definitely didn't change anything.
