This is correct. I've put over 100 miles on my bike with my wife's battery with zero problems. My wife put around 20 miles on her bike with my battery before it had the same issues. Now it will immediately cut off when the battery is "locked". As long as its just latched it is fine. I can...
Still having issues and I've narrowed it down to the battery. I can replicate the problem in my bike or my wife's just by swapping the battery. I'm trying to contact Bafang and see if they will warranty it.
I love to night ride, and after time change that's pretty much all I get to do during the week. I got some cheap lights to try night riding incase I didn't like it. I picked up one of the biggest cheap, rechargeable bicycle light bars you can find all over aliexpress and amazon. I've been so...
My family and I are going up to MSA for the world cup in October. We decided to go up for the week and make a family vacation out of it too. We are planning 2 days in Quebec city for the touristy stuff and 2 days of riding before the race. Our plan was to ride La Massif both days but I would...
I'm very interested in this. What are the other options? I'm used to the R/C world where I have one charger and different adapters for each battery. Would be nice to have something similar for bikes.
I spent so much time getting this perfect. Painstakingly perfect. Then I flipped the tire over only to notice it was off center. The logo on both sides of the tire are slightly off from each other! Now I just get it close to the center and roll on. lol
My amish bike came with a Zeb select. I pulled it off before a single ride and sold it for $400 on pinkbike. Watched facebook marketplace and picked up a brand new takeoff fox 38 performance elite for $450. If you have patience you can find a good deal.
I did a generic google search and found a FAQ from Trek.

One thing I found interesting is this;
"The battery cannot be upgraded, the stock battery is 580WH but can be downsized to the 360WH battery used on the EXE if you want to save some...
Too bad this thing is so ugly. A 170mm mid power bike with a 500wh battery coming in around 21kg in an enduro build seems to be the ticket. The big manufactures are figuring it out with the YT Decoy SN and the new Trek E-Slash. Would be nice to see a good option with the M820.
I am a huge trailforks fan but I'm having a hard time stomaching the 50% price increase this year. I'm truly disappointed with that. I've been trying to use MTB Project but its just not as user friendly as trailforks. I may have to bite the bullet and just pay the man.
Been looking an OnX...
I wear one pretty regular at the bike parks. Never really had a problem. You just have to find one that fits you well. I went through a couple before I found one that works for me.
I would definitely try some new pads. I have DB8's on my enduro Amish bike and while they take a little more lever input than some, they stop well. I can lock the rear up with ease on pavement if squeezed with authority.
I run a Fox DHX shock on mine and love it. I used the TF Tuned and the Lost Co calculator to determine spring and hit it on the head pretty good. I've thought about picking up one spring higher and one lower just to try it out. I guess you could always get a springdex and get some adjustment...
You talked me into it. They looked good so I ordered a pair of the 203mm 2.3 mil thick rotors for my downhill bike to try. I figured that would be the make or brake place to try them!
I also think they are going to eventually release an aluminum version. Probably as a core 1. In the youtube live they kept referring to it as the Decoy SV CF. I figure they will come out with a Decoy SV AL eventually.
Ok, so I might not have over heated the bike. I've went on two rides since then. The first ride was fine, but a relatively short ride of 10 miles. I did another ride yesterday and begin have problems again. I know it was not a heat issue because I was riding with my wife and was on E or E+...
I'm going to go ahead and say, this will probably be my next ebike. I'm not currently in the market for a new one, but I will more than likely have one at some point. I like the way YT bikes ride, and this one is the best to date. I will wait a year or two and pick up a core 2 for 5k and be...
