Sounds like a YouTube Bafang challenge for Neeko to me. ๐
Hey Bafang, ship Neeko DeVinchi both motors with appropriate batteries please.
Also, Neeko, can you some how get a infrared heat sensory set up on a drone too...you know in order to follow you up a climb for peak output at night?๐...
Too true.๐ But, I rather have the boost continuous if needed. I rode the the Fazua 60 using their 10 sec super boost mode. Way too short to be practical, even on super short climbs.
I haven't quite used the 820 boost mode for two hours (close in rolling hills) just for a one-time test when I...
Oh wow! That's unusual.
Can the frame be purchased without the glued bearing cups like the original?
Or even make a warranty replacement if problems exist with them in if still creating problems. It sucks but if the SZZS headset won't eventually work?
Yeah, I think it's the upper bearing cup that's the issue. Once, I installed the Hope bearing cup no more slop.
Can you tap 'em out somehow without damaging the headtube?
Finally after a month down for repair ๐คฌ....the new external wires frame conversion showing for a sunset ride. In this case, it's function over form. With a little extra bling๐ค ZS56 headset from Hope... precision stuff too. ๐ช
See my separate thread if interested in my process.๐
My amateur "forensic analysis" of the upgraded SZZS top headset. The lip was initially raised on the top bearing cup compared to the original SZZS top cap. At first, I thought this was to prevent water ingress which was good. Maybe it was just poor machining tolerance?๐ฑ
Symptomatology.
#1 The...
Here's a few tools and techniques I used to improve the second frame conversion.
Tools used. 16 mm diamond coated cutting wheel for initial cuts. Then a 6 mm dc routing burr.๐
My cardboard templates. Greater precision this way.๐
My tape prep๐
The cutout.๐
The final install.๐
Here's the painted frame conversion. ๐
New conventional ZS 56 headset.

Not pretty, but function over form. No more loose top headset๐ค.
Quick-and-dirty conversion practice frame (the original frame was cracked around the motor guard tab which was non-structural). Not bad for 10 minutes per cutout and free-hand.๐
Goal: Get some practice and be quick. Also, check the cable routing pathway. I decided the higher on the top tube...
That's the old brake line I had to cut off and sacrifice on my second ICR headset upgrade... So no impedance...this time I'll slice though the side top cover and epoxy/glue it back to get the olive on the new existing brake cable through. Then same for the display cable on the other side...
OK, getting ready to cut the rough opening (RO) here. I deduce that since the top cover of the cable guide goes in last, the insert part of it below the flange is the RO of the frame cut out. The bottom portion gets tipped backward then forward as suggest by MK (with the screw loose but...
