I'm guessing those three punctures and other damage are all to the rear? I run just exo tyres on the rear (dhrII) with a tannus insert. The tyre gets damaged but does wear out - I get about 2000km. No punctures. I'm still tubeless exo on the front with no problems there.
I'm no expert, and have minimal electrical knowledge, but I don't think anyone is suggesting using a small cable to limit charge current. I was surprised to hear that the dude (ray) in the video was so wrong - he does all his own stuff (charging on the road etc) and seems to have the knowledge...
I'd get these for urban duty if I was converting now. I plan to do that with my current ebike if and when I replace it. I did a search for reviews on youtube - there are a couple, but in German . I found this site; these guys seem to be just the sort of riders these tires are aimed at...
It's a good point, however they must have known there was a change via a code or something. They wouldn't make such a statement if they weren't sure that something happened. I do think there is an argument that the motor did not exceed the US standard which the motor is designed for.
so those motors supplied to the US market are not up to the "excessive design speed"!
This seems like typical old school warranty bs; they're using the law of the country as an excuse to wipe the warranty. The warranty should be uniform. Now, if the motor was set to go beyond the US limit, and...
It is amazing that some people are capable of thinking outside the box but with no real world experience, at all. And that their ideas actually make it this far.
The lights were smart, and the three wheeler. I really think that style of 3 wheeler will make it possible for people who can't...
That looks as though the grease is washed out - there's even rust. The other grease I use is waterproof (marine or boating) grease - it is reasonably cheap and used for boat trailer bearings etc. It holds up a lot better to water.
You might want to consider a good time frame to service them...
My guess is that the headset was too tight. When you think you have it adjusted, hold the front brake on and try to move the bike back and forth; this is to check for any movement in the headset. If that is good, lift the front wheel off the ground and move the steering to the left and right; it...
I think it's all in the detail. I was always told to do a balance charge once a month or so if riding regularly.
I use a timer, which is simple and easy and I don't have to give it any thought once it's set. My charger is slow and kind of back to front. It takes, supposedly, 6.5 hrs to charge...
No, it was a real question. Different bikes and forks aren't all the same when it comes to brake mounts. For example, not all emtb frames are native 180mm rotors. I imagine 200mm will be the native size for newer emtb?
