Ha! That’s wild. I guess I didn’t notice tue gay scene. It was pretty quite when I was there. We had a TL appt, overlooking Kelvingrive Park. Parkgrove terrace at the foot of Gary st. Across from the bowling green. The best chippy was around the corner on Sauchiehall Street. My daughter used...
Well I lived in Glasgow, and I spell it Jimmie. I never asked the Jimmies in Kelvingrive park how they spelled it. I lived above a Gaelic pub, where they spoke Gaelic.
Oidhche mhath
Not sure what being Scottish has to do with anything. I’ve only recently heard of wax. No worries Jimmie.
Chan eil dragh mor agamde a tha thu a smaoinechadh nuair a chuireas tu e mar sin. Moran taing.
Got it, I understood the issue, not the semantics. But I should have figures that is what you meant. I think motor overrun is the issue with damage to the drive train. But you’d think people would figure that out pretty quick. I’ve got about 500 km on my Turbo Levo, and the drive train looks...
I have been told exactly what you say. Ebikes will be ignored on Goat Creek Trail until you get into trouble and need rescue. Then they will get your attention for rescuing you from a place you wouldn’t have attempted to ride if you didn’t have an ebike.
R120, I keep telling myself to be happy that there are places I can ride an ebike. I know hiw sad that sounds, but it helps with the mental anguish of not being able to hit some of the trails I expected to hit after I bought my Turbo Levo. I have been looking for opportunities to interact with...
And, to add to this analysis, IMHO, the motor needs extra time to spool down after you back off the pedal force. This has been my experience. The first time and a couple others, I backed off when going uphill to grab a bigger FW cog, and hit the shifter at the same time. Problem is, the motor...
Anyone else find that on a Turbo Levo that you have to pause a significant amount of time for tue mitor to spool down a bit before shifting? If yiu don’t, all that torque will hit the chain and cogs if you ease off and shift immediately after.
I wanted to do the Georgetown Interpretive loop around Rundle starting at the top of the new switchback (Legacy Trail Extention) above the hydroplant in Canmore, but it is posted no ebikes, and they have a wildlife camera stuck on the post. I have been told, most rangers in the Alberta park...
Wow! Dirtnvert, what an unexpected reply. I posted the photo at Goat Creek Trail with the names of the four trails that Banff permits emtb’s.
I repost here. I will check out your suggestions. Any paved Surface where cars are allowed, ebkes are too. The Legacy Trail is paved for pedestrians...
Nailed it, thanks Dirk74!
I weigh 16 stone. No plans to buy an awesome fork. I am a recreational rider with no technical riding skills. I have been exploring local trails. The eBike has enhanced my riding and opened up terrain that I would not have encountered in the past on my 2011 trek...
I use a RokForm mount on my bicycles and motorcycles. It is a solid iPhone case and the mounting technology is pretty good.

I bought my 2020 Turbo Levo Comp Carbon in Canada in July. I noticed the website for setting up shocks does not include the RockShox Lyric Select+ shock setup. I had to go to the SRAM website to find a user manual for my fork. I am curious why I have Lyrik fork on my bike not the Fox fork...
I have spoken with multiple bike shops about this and have yet to find any lobbying for eMTB’s. Bow Cycle said they are doing something but so far I cannot find anyone putting together a group to make our desire to ride in Banff known. For now I can get with my representatives in government.
Go for the Carbon if you have the cash. You can’t make a bad decision here. I was out on my road bike recently and was surprised how fit I was after riding my FF comp carbon for the past month. There is something to be said for the raw speed of a road bike. Trail riding and road biking both...
