Hahah sure is! I've been looking for a cassette for about 9 months now....ugh. And that's the issue, you can't even look at a bike here let alone ride one with the supply issues.
Ahoy hoy. I've got a 2yo Trek Rail 7. Done some mods to brakes and drivetrain, and generally adore it. Only grips is the forks can feel harsh on a big hit (Yari upgraded to Lyrik). She's up for a new cassette and if I were to upgrade the fork, I'm potentially near the price of a new Sam2 6.8 or...
Yeah I'm keen to know if this is going to be an upgrade, or side-grade, from my upgraded Rail 7. It seems like Bosch may still be the go for motors, so maybe I'll just sus out a new fork for my baby :)
I’m surely doing it up as tight or more than the torque setting. I was going to threadlock it but when I pulled the screw out tonight it’s all fully greased. So I don’t think it would take.
The crank arm feels fine, I actually don’t notice it riding just back home I’ll go to spin the pedal...
Anyone else's right crank arm bolt keep coming loose? (Rail 7)
Mine does every single ride now.
Surprised it's not an interference fit (the crank arm), it comes right off. It seems like a design issue, and I'm not sure how to fix it. Open to suggestions!
Only downside I've found so far is the ridiculously shallow rims they use meaning installing any stiff-walled tyre is a lot more difficult than it should be!
The display could be a bit more conspicuous as well. No issues yet but I can't see how it won't get destroyed in a bit stack...
I do exactly the same. Take the battery out after a wash and there's a little water action inside which you can dry. I'm amazed how much water gets into the charge port as well, so I use my cordless blower all over the bike especially there and the brakes. After that I go for a road ride for a...
Yes but most of us recommending our bikes have also probably ridden a lot. I rode as many as I could and agonized over it for months! The research paid off imo. I also valued forum advice.
Trek Rail 7 is what I went with. Zero regrets, would buy again. Handling is great, auto mode is all I use, range is excellent. Looks should be the last thing on your list, who cares when you’re shredding!!?! Although I think they look great.
No seal on mine. I don’t think it matters; any liquid would drain around the battery terminal gap and out the bottom. No reason to need it fully sealed I think.
